We love coming here! The empanadas are amazing! They have lots of taco options! My family likes to order 1 of each taco they think sounds good! Their mojitos are good. The service is good, atmosphere is good. Has a unique feel inside. They are located in the perfect spot if you’re just hoping around down town! I really enjoy their cauliflower tacos and corn dip. The prices seem a bit high but that’s probably because of its location. The bathrooms aren’t great but that’s because there’s just 2 single unisex bathrooms. Depending on what table you are seated at, you may have ample room for food or you may be crammed. The bar is nice to sit at. We hardly ever have a wait time but when we do, we just wait at the bar and get a drink or 2. Service is great. Food is tasty.

My best girl and I waited for ages for this gem to open, and we were not disappointed! The menu is unique, and the portions were generous. I ordered one of the salads and opted for additional spiced shredded chicken. It was a lot more chicken than expected and I was stuffed! Yum! My best girl tried a few custom tacos and was so pleased with the table's hot sauces that she bought one (through Amazon) before we were finished: Carolina Reaper + blueberry! Our server was top-notch, a younger guy with glasses. He was on the spot with perfect suggestions and a dash of enthusiasm. Be patient with parking. It's somewhat limited, but the turnover rate is steady. Highly recommended for those who seek out new food experiences in a beautifully decorated establishment.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch today. Owner/Host Jason and our sweet bartender/waitress (that I unfortunately forgot her name) were awesome. Outstanding customer service! My wife thoroughly enjoyed her Whitefish taco and RRCC Barbacoa taco. I had the Sound Guy Sammie (see photo). Wow! It was one of the best sandwiches l've ever had. The fresh baked bolillo roll was delicious. And the Coca-cola braised beef, tequila pickled onions, applewood smoked bacon, crispy cheese, guacamole, Duke's mayo, and iceberg...insert chef kiss here. And it was so big, I get to eat the second half for supper. I highly recommend trying out Rock Taco. And you can have your meal delivered via DoorDash. We will be back.

Having lived in TX and the Southwest for over 40 years, I have always been skeptical of TexMex beyond the Red River but our local friends group recently enjoyed a dinner at Rock Taco, and I was impressed. Tacos and salsa were spot on, and I like that they provided each of us with our own small bowl. The queso needs help though....very bland and missing that sweet-hot balance with peppers and onion. The tacos were generous in portion, and the fish taco options were the hit of the table.

The larger plates were tasty....flavorful....correctly portioned. Just make sure you ask for enough extra soft tacos. I can see how the bar and kitchen can get backed up given the limited number of seated tables....only 2 can handle a party of 5 to 6 guests. Come hungry, but be patient. Worth the wait.

Solid option for FM/RH area TexMex. This is not a Chili's for the family type spot. Upstairs bar suggests that they are looking for 25-35 year old patrons loving cerveza and tacos.

Overall, solid food, nice vibe and great drinks/beers/margueritas. Worth more...

We went to try the place after waiting a long time for it to open. I saw some of the negative reviews, but I can only imagine how hard it is to open a new place. Plus this is the same owner as Burgers and Barley which is pretty reliably good. The atmosphere is a 10, and they really put a lot of money into the place. Our server Aleah, surely spelled wrong, was fantastic. I got the fish and grits and my wife got the shrimp quesadilla. It was nice and hot when it arrived. We had a few drinks as well. We are big tequila fans, and this is the only place I have ever seen that has legit tequilas at the bar. I saw Fortaleza, El Tesoro, Codigo, Arrete, and many more. If you know, you know these aren't at most bars. On the way out we spoke to the owner and he is super kind. Our table was on the second floor and had a great view of main street. To the guy in the silver Porsche, we got to see you try to parallel park. It gave us all...

We had a wonderful experience at our office Christmas party! Booking and communication was seamless and done primarily through email— very friendly and accommodating. We were seated in the upstairs room, where there was a full bar. Chips, guacamole, queso, and salsa to start were fresh and delicious. The cocktail menu had many options and everyone was pleased with their margaritas and drinks. Lunch portions were generous and the food was so yummy! I had 3 tacos, but 2 would have been plenty. Service was wonderful— our server was so kind and patient with us as a large group. Drinks and food came quickly. Atmosphere is wonderful— fun decor and such a great location. It was neat to be able to see downtown Rock Hill. Highly recommend for a group lunch/dinner/happy hour and I look forward to visiting again...
