I just stopped thru the park one night after leaving a restaurant for dinner. I took a stroll and sat and watched the water for a little while. It was very peaceful and calm. The weather was very pleasant. It just so happened to be the night of the strawberry moon. The sky was beautiful and the moon was radiant that night. I loved the beautiful flowers they have planted there at the park also. The hydrangeas were in full bloom. The huge water bugs crawling around was a bit scary I must add. There were tons of them. I guess you can expect to see water bugs where there is a huge water fountain though...lol. I ended up going back to my car and chilling for a while as I watched the fountain in motion. I opened up my sunroof to get a glimpse of the beautiful red moon. Even dozed off for a quick nap while I was out there. It was a great visit at the fountain. I must go...

The fountain is beautiful. It has made nice focal point to the area. You can control certain functions of the fountain itself by being nearby & using fountainparkrockhill.com (activate with the blue button). At the time of it's grand opening it was the tallest water feature in the world though I am not sure if that still stands & I'm honestly too lazy to do Google search at this moment. In December they install a temporary ice skating rink directly beside the park if that is your sort of thing. Personally, I would break bones so I'll leave that to y'all. It is too small for walking trails and playground equipment so if that is what you're looking for try Cherry, Fuel or Hargett parks nearby. It has lots of benches and a grassy area so its a great spot for a date, a picnic or quiet reflection. Last thing, there is also free WiFi through "Rock...

Well hello😋 I was at the fountain tonight 8/10/18 it was so peaceful so wonderful the atmosphere was absolutely restful and stress relieving I was so busy enjoying the atmosphere that I saw very little of the movie which was absolutely great(when I was actually looking) the togetherness of everyone the quietness of it all and the fountain flowing families together chairs lined up everywhere children playing food Service it was just awesome you wouldn't want to miss these events that they have at the fountain I give them a attaboy Bravo great job to the City Of Rock Hill please go out and enjoy... Whatever their goal was they were trying to accomplish I may never know but if they were trying to accomplish togetherness family-oriented peaceful togetherness and I'll say this they slam-dunked...

Cool little park in downtown Rock Hill! It is basically just a block-long concreted park area with a little grassy area in front of the small amphitheater with a large fountain in the middle. There are benches around the area to sit and take in the fountain, but the best seats are right by the fountain itself so you can the spray from the watershow; which is so nice on the super hot summer days. The dancing watershows put on by the fountain are actually impressive and almost remind me of the fountains in front of the Bellagio. The only things missing were the music and lights! Definitely stay the full 10-15mins to see the four different ensembles. It was a nice little stop to enjoy the sunny day and a very short walk from the main downtown drag. There is ample street parking surrounding the park, as well.

Used to be really awesome around Christmas. Fun throughout year too. For walking, hanging and of course food truck fridays. As of Dec 2024 it isn't well maintained any longer over half of the Christmas lights are out due to burned out receptacles. I brought family from out of town and really bragged about how beautiful it looks around Christmas with all the lights. I felt disappointed and know it wasn't anywhere near 100% of what it can and used to look like. Please, Rock Hill don't lose focus. Families have made this an annual tradition. Fix these receptacles and restore full glory to fountain park!!! (Pictures below are from 2021)
