Camese is wonderful! She nailed my color I wanted and she is down to earth. She will remain my hairstylist for years to come. The shampoo, wash, head massage was amazing. She even used a hot towel which I have never experienced before in all my years going to get my hair colored. If I could afford the hair wash weekly, I would definitely go to her, šŸ˜‚. Getting your hair done is definitely expense but I can say this time, it was worth it. I'm highly satisfied, relaxed, and feeling great. Please give Camese whatever she needs, wants, admires to keep her with your company forever. I also highly love Therapy's hair products. Even the bathroom hand soap and lotion I had to look up to buy. I love the essential oils. I also really enjoy the decor of the Rock Hill location. I'm very familiar with renovations and the shop is well designed to make you feel relaxed.

This was my first visit at this salon, and I felt comfortable the moment I entered. I scheduled with Camese based on reviews that she knew her way around curly hair. I was thrilled that she cut my curly hair dry instead of wet. She constantly checked that I was pleased as she trimmed my curls and made suggestions that turned out to be the right decisions for my hair. I'm thrilled to have found her and this lovely salon. The prices are also reasonable. I will definitely be back and am considering getting my color with Camese. Edit to add that my hair was recovering from a bad prior haircut (a curly shag I never asked for!) and severe hair loss. I hated to give up length but Camese explained that we had to get rid of the scraggly shag at the ends. She was right. Sad to learn Camese is no longer employed here.

I only get my hair done twice a year so it’s important to me that when I treat myself to a new hairdo, I look GOOD. This hair color is waaaay outside my normal look and Master Stylist, Meghan, couldn’t have pulled off my vision any better! She listened to all of my concerns (not wanting touch ups often and wanting to keep hair healthy) and she went with a very specific process based off of all of my wants and needs. I absolutely loved the hair products she used on me, so much so, that I will be back next week to replenish my hair products with hers. While in the salon, I was feeling bold and she even dyed my eyebrows to match. The price was reasonable for the exceptional level of service I received and the quality hairdo I’m now rocking. I feel like a hot momma now! Thank you Meghan!

I really wanted a Therapy Hair Salon Rock Hill to be my long term salon. I consulted with a great stylist, we discussed gray blending my dark brunette hair and then I decided to commit to a long-term and large financial investment into my hair. My first ā€œgray blendā€ appointment went great! This was the second time I had been to see the stylist. The compliments I received on my hair were unbelievable!!

For my second appointment, I did what we all need to do, work schedule was rearranged, child care put in place and wouldn’t you know, an exit sign fell into the freeway the afternoon of my appointment. My commute went from 30 minutes to one hour and I had 45 minutes to get there.

I called the salon 45 minutes ahead as soon as I knew and then again right at my appointment time. With much back and forth and pleading on my end due to this extraordinary and extenuating circumstance, I was told that if I was not there by 10 minutes after my appointment, I would be rescheduled. I asked for 5 additional minutes and was told no. My stylist was double booked after me, the next client would be late, and so on, was what I was told. So much so, I asked if she ever even had time for me anyway?!?

When I was rescheduled for a few days later with a different stylist, I asked if my original stylist would be there to at least consult with the other stylist to pick up in the process (IYKYK). The receptionist very curtly told me she would be here but would have another client, so she had no time to speak with me that morning (not what I asked, by the way).

Come the morning of my new appointment, the receptionist and original stylist listened to my feedback but certainly didn’t hear it. Not sure if I could have received any less disingenuous head nods and ā€œoh, I am so sorryā€ lines. The final result of the conversation was that is the salon policy.

All this to say, I am most disappointed in my original stylist really for not having my back, her client’s back and making five extra minutes work. Offer not to dry my hair to gain the time, whatever! Instead I was a victim of ā€œa policy she had no control overā€ (which is hard to believe, as she seems more influential than that based on my previous experiences, but what do I know, right?) She is an AMAZING hairstylist and artistic director, so it was sad It was made VERY clear to me how all of the other clients would be impacted (which I am not mad at the advocating for them) if they gave me five more minutes to get to my appointment after battling unforeseen traffic due to a highway sign collapsing. Geesh, my nerve!

I am a very loyal customer and also very reasonable when it comes to client experience and managing expectations. I felt like I was not valued at all as a client and I am so disappointed.

This post was not written lightly, but not sure if this is the salon for you if you are looking for reciprocated loyalty/compromise from your stylist, as they as they seem bound by very strict, inflexible salon policies. (Or...

I was excited to try this salon. When I called for an appointment for blonde highlights, I was told that I need to come in for a consultation before an appointment could be scheduled. This consult was free, and the appointment was set a few days after I initially called. The stylist kept asking me what I hated about my current style. When I asked what she recommended, her suggestion ended up being for me to keep my current style (color and cut). I have used the most expensive salons in Rock Hill, Fort Mill, and Charlotte, so I was stunned that the quoted cost for highlights and trim was double what I’ve paid elsewhere. I was given the Instagram of this ā€œsenior stylist,ā€ and there weren’t many blonde styles posted, and they didn’t seem impressive considering the price. Overall, I found the receptionist to be friendly, the stylist to be not very friendly, and the price to be outrageous. No way I’m going to pay double for essentially the same thing I can get in other salons.

Edited to reply to the response from owner: This salon apparently doesn't have a "junior stylist." There isn't one listed on your website. Again, my point is if your stylist is simply recommending that I keep getting the same color/cut that I've always gotten in the past at other salons for about half the price, I see no point in changing to your salon. If your stylist was planning to give me something better and different, I would certainly have...

I got my hair cut here today - I tried to like how my hair looked but as time went on, I realized I hated it.

I won't name the stylist who cut my hair, but she's a newer employee. She was super kind and I enjoyed talking with her, but she didn't listen to what I asked for. I asked for my hair to be cut at my collarbone - and I showed her where I wanted the cut to land twice - but my hair is a solid inch above my collarbone area. I noticed when she began cutting my hair that she cut too much off, but I didn't comment because 1) the damage had already been done and 2) I'm a fairly easygoing person and it's just hair, it'll grow back.

When the appointment was over with and I was back in my car, I noticed that one side was a bit longer than the other. It didn't look bad per se, it's an asymmetrical bob; but again, I didn't ask for that.

When I got home and inspected the back of my hair, I realized there were some longer pieces she missed. I had to grab a pair of scissors and attempt to cut those long pieces myself.

All in all, I'm very disappointed with how my hair turned out; I've never had this happen to me before, but it's such a bad cut that I now need to schedule another hair appointment to fix it. I won't be coming back here,...
