This incident happened 2 or 3 weeks ago, but my parents live extremely close and order poor boys pizza all the time. It is always delicious and almost always takes forever. I get it, they are busy, and the delivery guy is always super sweet about it. It hasn't stopped them and myself up until now from ordering even with the long wait (let's be honest it's about a block away and if we are lazy enough to not pick it up then we can wait awhile).
Anyway, recently I was at a friend's home over by saukie golf course (so not far) and we decided to order. The guy mentioned when she placed our order that it would be an hour and a half wait and we were fine with that. Normally pizza places over shoot it to buy themselves time and make it seem early but even when an hour and a half rolled around we were still fine with it. Then it became an hour and 45 so I called to check on the order and the guy put me on hold and then came back without apology and told me it was on the way. I said okay and was irritated, but hungry so I could wait the 5 minutes it would take for them to get there. 20 MINUTES later (mind you we are now over the 2 hour mark we still had nothing so I called again and he tried to brush me off rudely telling me it was on the way. I stopped him and said that he said it last time and it would only take 20 more minutes to get to us if the guy were walking. He was extremely rude and said he warned us of the wait, to which I corrected him that he warned us of 1 1/2 hours not over 2. He said "Well, it's on it's way!" and at this point I was livid at his complete lack of customer service so I cancelled the order. He tried to make me feel bad by telling me the driver was already out but at this point they had lost my business more out of his rudeness than the lateness of the food.
So disappointing but I will not be ordering form them again and will advise my family to choose something...

He returns and says blah blah blah, delivery, yeah yeah. I wanted to order a cheeseburger and he’s like “Ok, what do you want on it...?” Like an annoyed voice. And asked him if $10 is minimum then he’s like yup.. (rudely.) So I say ok, thinking I’ll just add something else. Well guess what, he then goes on and says “okay well I’m going to put you on hold till you make your decision.” That’s terrible customer service. When my boyfriend arrived 15 min later to pick up the pizza, it was burned. The oven was already turned off and the pizza guy started cursing and throwing things. He said he didnt know how to turn the oven back on. They had already charged my boyfriend's card and said they couldn't refund it. So he left without the pizza that he paid for. They said they would give us two "free" Pizzas to make up for it. Which really only meant one free pizza since we paid for a pizza we never received.
