Frank's Pizza — Restaurant in Rockaway Township

Food is always great but it’s the waitresses’ that made me give this a two star review. Not all of the employees who wait on tables are this bad but last night was a hot mess. I moved a few towns away and pass about three Franks Pizzarias to come to this one because the food is always up to par but the service really needs to step it up because it is making me not want to come back which is sad. So last night especially (alongwith ALMOST every single time) was a mess and I’m never one to complain. But the waitress we had last night insisted on not writing a thing down and kept having to come back to our table to ask us what we ordered. Approximately four times she had to come back and make sure the pasta I wanted wasn’t linguini.... which is wasn’t. I asked for penne. Then had to ask us if we really ordered chicken noodle and not chicken and rice ... uhm yes. Then to make sure we ordered garlic bread not regular bread. Then to see what kind of Dish I ordered because she couldn’t remember and said “sorry don’t kill me but what did you order”. Very unprofessional considering we were the only table there at the time. I have no problem if you don’t want to write my order down but don’t come back questioning four times what in the hell I ordered. I will proceed to come to this restaurant but will be picky next time if who waits...

I found the food ok, it was much better years ago. I assume it is a different owner. Had a very bad experience that caused me to NEVER go back to this location. I purchased a take out order and paid with my debit card, they did not have a place to swipe it so I handed my card to the guy. He ended up not giving it back to me. I did not realize this until the next day, Thank God I cancelled my card. When I called the next day the person that answered the phone was the person that took care of me the day before, I asked if they had my card He said I do not know. He said let me call you back , I said why do you need to cal me back? He became very defensive, said i was going to do you a favor if you are going to be that way I will not do it. I asked to talk to the mfgr, he hung up on me. When I called back someone else answered and immediately said we have your card. I asked for the mgr he said he will not be in until later, I asked for a call back never got one. This to me is very suspicious I would not trust this...

I ordered a half tray of chicken francese and a fettuccine linguine dinner. The francese came with garlic bread and a small dinner portion of pasta. I’m not quite sure how that proportionately aligns if a half tray feeds about 8-10 ppl but the dinner portion of pasta is for one person. The francese was tasty 4/5, the garlic bread was a 4/5, the fettuccine alfredo was a 1/5. The alfredo was bland and the sauce tasted like milk. Lastly I was overcharged by $5. I called and let the guy who took my order know that online my checkout amount was $60 but he charged me $65. I didn’t make a big deal about it as I had already paid without initially asking the price. I didn’t check out online because I needed it by a specific time and wanted to ensure that it would be ready by then. So I thought it would be best to call the order in. I also wanted my food to be handled with care. I know how things can get in the restaurant industry. This was my first time ordering from here. I don’t think I will...
