Anthony's Pizzeria & Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Rockaway

I never ate at the "family restaurant" side of this establishment. I always head into the pizzeria for a quick slice or two when I'm on the run.

Service is good and courteous. My favorite is their buffalo chicken slice. It has a nice little kick to it.

I'm also a fan of their "Cracker Pizza" (please don't call me a racist!!!). Anthony's Cracker Pizza is their version of a thin crust personal pie. As much as I love regular crusted pizza, sometimes I'm not in the mood to have all the carbs and bread. So, I order the cracker pizza. I either get the BBQ Chicken, Buffalo Chicken or the Chicken & Broccoli (all cracker style). It is extremely reasonable in price and is the perfect portion. Not too full, but it doesn't leave you starving either.

Anthony's pizza is my go-to place on my way home from school or a nice hang out pizza spot with friends . I didn't know about it until my friend started working there and let me taste some of the pizza that she brought back from work. It was amazing. I decided to go on my own and see their selection of pizza. I was amazed that there was such a wide variety of pizza, all at an affordable price. Any struggling college student can appreciate good food without breaking the bank. I come here any chance I get, and get a slice or two, and can still leave the parlor with change from a 5 in my pocket. It is old but so are the other little shops in the town. I wish I could give more than 5 stars for the service and compassion we received a few days ago. My father passed away last week and his funeral was Friday. We called Anthony's Thursday morning before the wake to see if they could do a last minute catering order for Friday morning. They made sure they got any of the ingredients they needed for the we ordered. After that told my mom not to worry about paying that day since we had so much to do and were in mourning. She was told when you have time come down and pay for the order, there is no rush. That was such a relief, one less thing to worry about. I can't thank them enough for their compassion, you would not find this most other places. I have been going to Anthony's since I was little and will continue to support them.
