I hadn't been to a Golden Corral location in several years due to past poor experiences however, this is a new location for us so I figured it would would redeem itself but it did not. There were servers available to seat customers however, there were SEVERAL dirty tables and we had to get up to take our empty drinks to the server nook to request refills, napkins and to clear our table. Also, because there was not anyone monitoring sections, children were digging into candy dishes and the chocolate fountain while picking up items with their fingers and putting it back on the serving dishes. It got to the point that I went to assist the children by getting plates and bowls to help them select the desert(s) they desired while other customers distastefully expressed their dislike to anyone that would listen-including a staff member that did nothing. Eventually I requested the assistance of the store manager on duty in efforts to get my family and those around us some service. It is too expensive to eat at Golden Corral to have to provide your own family table service and monitor the children of others! I learned that they were not understaffed and we're not in the midst of a shift change so outside of poor service and lack of authority, the store manager and one other associate had to assist us until our departure. There seriously needs to be a secret visit to this location to address the poor customer service, lack of direction and some of the unfriendly attitudes at this establishment. I've worked in customer service in the past so I understand the chaos of lack of staff, shift changes and rush hour so I was prepared to overlook this foolishness, however, according to management, that was not the case.
Aside from that, there was a decent variety of food (which is needed to apease the taste buds of many), appeared to be prepared as expected and the flavor was okay. I highly doubt we will be returning to this, or any other location,...

Let me talk about the steaks first. These aren’t your average cuts. These are gigantic, juicy, expertly grilled masterpieces, made exactly the way you ask. Medium rare? Done. Well-done with a sear? No problem. I asked for mine medium-rare, and what I received was a slice of perfection — seared on the outside, pink and tender inside, and full of bold flavor. One of these steaks felt like I had eaten four — that’s how generous the portions are.
I went in thinking I’d have one or two… I ended up having three thick cuts, and I’ll be honest — the third one was too much, but it was so good I couldn’t stop. You don’t find steak like this in many places. Not at this size. Not with this consistency. Not with this care.
Compliments to the grill master — whoever’s behind that flame knows exactly what they’re doing. There’s precision, passion, and confidence in how that steak is handled. That’s not fast food. That’s craftsmanship.
The atmosphere? Clean, well-lit, and organized. The buffet is constantly refreshed. Nothing feels like it’s been sitting out. Fresh salads, warm rolls, hot sides — everything complements the steak beautifully. And the dessert bar? That’s a whole other review.
Service is friendly, warm, and fast. The staff seems to genuinely care. It’s rare to feel that kind of welcome in a busy place.
Golden Corral at this location has earned my respect. I came for dinner, but I ended up getting an experience. It’s a place that respects your hunger, your preferences, and your time.

Read moreThe hostess who was handling the seating became when my family and I wanted to be seated at a long table where we would all be facing one another instead of back to back seating or across the room seating where other families would be seated in between us. It was as if she couldn't understand that we came for a family dinner and wanted to sit a a family and be able to talk to one another without having to turn around in our seats or talk across other families.
We had a party of 6 adults and 7 children and the hottest kept making smart mouth comments when we turned down seating that was not accommodating to our needs saying things like I don't know why you went take the seating I don't know how long it will be before I can seat you the way you want and I don't want to offer someone else seating then you get upset saying you were here first. I had to tell her do not patronize me, its seating you already offered me and I declined so why would I get upset if you offer it to someone else. I felt like she was profiling me due to the color of my skin already determining in her mind how I would act because I am a black woman.
Needless to say if I hadn't had 7 excited children with me I would've definitely left the restaurant, but I didn't want to disappoint my grandbabies.
We were willing to and did wait patiently and this apparently bothered the hostess very much who again wanted to have verbal exchange about our decision to wait and consistantly offer us seating that was arranged in a way that we'd already expressed more than once we didn't want.
My son loves GC but I'm not sure after that experience we'll be...
