A HUGE disappointment in our visit tonight. We brought our grandson out to eat pizza for his birthday to spend time with him. As soon as we sat down, the waitress asked if we had a request for a pizza. Yes. Grandson asked for a thin crust pepperoni. While we ate our supper, several other pizzas came out, no thin crest pepperoni as requested. Asked our waitress 3 times about pizza. No pizza. I walked to counter & asked about grandson's requested thin crust pizza & lady said it was coming out. Still, no pizza. 45+ minutes & no supper as requested for our grandson. When our waitress came by again I told her that we have eaten our supper & our grandson had not, so the 3rd meal charge needs to be removed from our ticket. Another waitress came to our table & said she had fixed our ticket. She said pizza was ready. I said "no thank you because our grandson has waited 45 minutes for his requested pizza & we will not be back". My husband went to pay our bill & he told the Manager that they have really dropped the ball tonight. He told her that we were here for our grandson's birthday. He never got his requested pizza. The Manager said " there is plenty of pizza out there to choose from" in a VERY, short I don't care attitude & unprofessional customer service. All we could do was apologize again & again to our grandson for not getting any supper. We took him to another business to get him supper. Pizza Inn Corp. is our favorite place to eat pizza, but we will NOT come back to this place in Rockingham, NC. We have NEVER had this kind of "lack of customer service concern" experience at...
Read moreNot that great! Totally over price for the quality of food. Management very friendly and kitchen staff very friendly. They do offer military discount and seniors. But some of the worst Pizza and spaghetti I've ever eaten. I would rate this place way below CiCi's Pizza and that's not saying much. If you are into Quality Pizza you would be better off going by a Domino's and getting the 799 large 3 topping special. Totally low quality here. Years ago that used to taste like Village Inn pizza parlors. However they have dropped their quality since then. Probably the reason why I saw somebody get the buffet and take a lot of takeout boxes which is a No-No at most pizza places. So they must just throw out junk so people like that can eat here. I didn't even taste mozzarella cheese in the pizzas it tasted more like provolone. Which is also a No-No in the pizza business mozzarella cheese is a must on a pizza. Nothing really stands out here. I did enjoy the Mexican pizza. But it was nothing to write home about. I thought there was never going to be a pizza place that could get quality below CiCi's boy was I wrong. Unfortunately I see this place shutting down in less than 2 years. One year if CiCi's decides to move here. Not a big fan of the CiCi's chain but they have a step more quality than this place. Wish the Pizza Inn would have stayed with their great quality of their products they had six years ago. But the staff here is very nice. If it wasn't for that we would have asked for our money back. Trust in the Lord. God is good....
Read moreOrdered a LG pizza, the baked pasta, and a LG Ooey Gooey Pizzert for delivery like usual, except when it arrived there was nothing but crust for the dessert pizza. Call the restaurant to ask if I can bring it up there in exchange for a new one, woman says that not right & she'll "have the kitchen remake it" so I wait around finishing feeding my kids dinner before I head up there around 15 mins later, timing it so to give it enough time to be boxed & ready to go when I got there--nope. I believe the woman I spoke with is the shift manager since her uniform was different than everyone else, I showed it to her & then she proceeded to ask if I want them to add the toppings to the old one or make a new one, that should have been my first red flag but I just asked for a new one and sat down to wait. Not only did I have to wait 15 more minutes, they made a medium instead of the large I purchased, AND they ONLY put icing on top. "Excuse me ma'am it's supposed to be topped with cinnamon sugar & then icing.." I explain, but she argues with me saying it only comes with cinnamon baked into the crust/cake, not on top. I show her the picture and description off of the Pizza Inn website where it clearly states the cinnamon baked into the crust AND then topped with, as stated before. She then says, verbatim, "We must make it differently than everywhere else" um this is the same Pizza Inn I've been eating at for 20 years now, and this is the first time its ever looked...
