Long story short some employee hopped on the intercom when there was some confusion about what their menu board said and she maid some very rude comments to me for NO REASON. I canceled my order immediately and pulled up to the window and asked to speak to a manager to which i was told there wasnt a manager on duty. The girl at the window was very polite and apologized for the actions of her coworker, so it wasn't everyone but then i proceeded to call the resturant to ask for a manager and that's when it got worse. Not only did nobody answer the first few times but when someone did they were just as rude to me. Said they were the manager but refused to tell me her first name so i had a reference as to who i spoke with and she hung up on me. I called back again a bit later and was hung up on again. End of the day i called corporate and filed a complaint since i could not find an adult in the room to deal with the situation in a professional manner. Read moreI went to Arby's (Rocklin,CA) tonight and ordered food for the family. One French dip, two roast beef sliders and two curly fries. Fries received were cold. Sandwiches were smashed. No sauces received with the meals, including no au jus which is part of the French dip meal.
I called and spoke to the assistant manager tonight, Feb 9 2022 at 7:10pm (Pacific Time). She said there was no manager on duty, so I had to address my problem with her. I informed of my issues stated above, and she was extremely unfriendly and unconcerned. She said she would provide the missing sauces only, but I had to drive back across town now, and there was nothing else she was willing to do about this issue.
When I informed her that I was considering calling the corporation to complain about the poor service, she said, "Go ahead. I don't care." Wow, right? Well, there you have it. Tells me all I need to know about this restaurant. You think I trust them to cook any of my family's meals now? You think I will ever return to an Arby's again. My purpose in writing this review is to speak of the basics, not a lofty expectation for five star service from a restaurant with a drive-thru. I was greeted at the counter by a friendly cashier and trainee. I ordered my usual #3 and was served promptly and politely. That is really all I can ask of a fast food joint. The food was hot, neat, and exactly what I ordered. Overall, I am happy with the food and service here. The only reason this review comes with one less than an all star review is that the age of the building shows on the interior of the dining room.
