Nemo’s Seafood and Grill Review
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nemo’s Seafood and Grill, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish.
Food: The standout dish for me was definitely the coconut shrimp, which was the best I’ve had in a long time. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, with a crispy, flavorful coating that paired wonderfully with the sweet coconut. The sides, while somewhat limited, were absolutely delicious. The braised cabbage was a perfect balance of tender and flavorful, the coleslaw was bright and refreshing, and the green beans were fresh and garlicky.
Service: The service was friendly and quick, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The staff made sure we had everything we needed and were attentive without being overbearing.
Atmosphere: The atmosphere at Nemo’s Seafood and Grill is inviting and relaxed, making it a great place for a casual lunch or dinner.
Looking Forward: I’m already looking forward to my next visit to try the crab stuffed jalapeños, which I’ve heard great things about.
Overall, Nemo’s Seafood and Grill is a fantastic spot for seafood lovers. The delicious food and excellent service make it...
Read moreWe were desperate for a moderately-priced seafood restaurant, and our search yielded Nemo's. We were impressed with their options for fried and grilled seafood [and crawdad], and I was excited about the steamed cabbage as a side dish. The baked potato was tender and loaded without any extra charge, but my wife carried hers out whole because the stuffed snapper was so generously portioned. The only finding pertained to the condition of the snapper: it was unduly dry and mealy because of its state of preparation. The stuffing was cooked thoroughly and likely accounted for the state of the fish. That miss was forgiven, though, because of the delightful flavor and texture of the grilled shrimp. These shrimps represented a pleasant surprise with a savory seasoning and slightly fibrous chew that seemed more substantial than the amorphous modulus that fried or boiled shrimp can provide. Lest I fall to praise the crawdad tails, I will laud the quantity and the tender texture and appealing breading that added definition to the sweet flesh. We do not envision a soon return to the area, but any successive journey will likely include an additional...

Start with the boiled shrimp. 1 pound of large boiled shrimp (shells on) served over spicy butter sauce with a potato and corn on the cob! Excellent flavor, just spicy enough. Jumbo rock shrimp. I definitely should have taken advantage of the plastic "bib" they offered.
Also had the blackened grilled flounder filets. They were perfect and delicious! The grilled plates are also served with 3 grilled shrimp on the side. I had green beans as a side dish, and they were not out of a can! And a dinner salad, made with fresh, sweet and crispy mixed greens. Salad perfection!
My mom had the grilled Mahi Mahi, also well prepared and a generous portion. Hubby had fried shrimp which was good good. And our friend had fried chicken tenders, which were suspiciously orange in color, but not spicy.
The cocktail and tartar sauces were also very good! This was a surprisingly great meal. And the service was great! Seems like a family run operation. They also had a few Vietnamese dishes on the menu, but we didn't try them. Definitely go check...
