Nemo’s Seafood & Grill – A Hidden Gem Worth Finding!

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted promptly and seated at a clean, sturdy table (and yes — it didn’t wobble! 😂).

We kicked things off with the fried mushrooms 🍄, and wow — they were perfectly golden, crispy, and full of flavor. Definitely one of the best we’ve had anywhere!

For dinner, we ordered the grilled red snapper and shrimp and the fried catfish dinner. Both dishes were spot-on! The red snapper was tender and beautifully grilled, the shrimp had that perfect smoky flavor, and the catfish was crispy on the outside while staying moist inside. The loaded baked potatoes were a meal on their own — fluffy inside, loaded with cheese, bacon, and sour cream.

Portion sizes were generous, prices were fair, and our waiter Sam took great care of us — friendly, quick, and attentive without hovering.

Wonderful seafood at a great price! The coconut shrimp are huge and the plate has 8 of them on it with two sides. The coleslaw was great, has some pineapple in it that gives it a really sweet taste. The seasoned french fries are so good. The salad is great with their blue cheese dressing. Baked potato was perfect. The sweet tea is perfectly sweetened. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. We're staying in Port Aransas but we drive to Rockport just to eat here. Wait staff is super friendly and the guy that waited on us was nice looking. I may be old enough to be his Mom, lol, but that's okay, he's really good looking! Don't let the location in a strip center fool you. My wife and I had dinner at Nemo's on October 14, 29025, a Tuesday evening. The restaurant was about 3/4 full. My wife ordered the stuffed flounder and I ordered the stuffed red snapper. The food was excellent and the wait staff was very helpful and attentive without being overbearing.
