Tijuana Mexican Café — Restaurant in Rockville

Should be 0 stars. Horrible service, extremely rude employees. We sat at a bar table for 15 minutes while waitresses repeatedly walked by, looked right at us and ignored us. We were very patient since the restaurant was sort of busy (only about half full though). We tried to smile and politely get their attention but got no greeting, no menus, no sort of acknowledgement at all. We walked to the bar to try to order a drink and the bartenders made a conscious effort to ignore us while chatting with other patrons at the bar. Eventually we moved to a bar seat where one bartender (lady in a white shirt, hair pulled back) was cutting limes right in front of us. We asked her if we could please order a drink when she had a moment. She looked right at us and then went back to cutting limes. We asked if we had done something to offend her and she just said "no English" and walked away. So I guess they won't serve non-Spanish speaking customers? We finally got a beer from someone else who also clearly didn't want to serve us. At this point we tried to leave but had to wait another 15 minutes for the check while they ignored us some more. We were there for almost an hour and never even came close to being able to order food and we clearly weren't welcome even though we had been nothing but polite and extremely patient. Worst and rudest service I've ever seen...

Horrible customer service went there twice an not time was ignored and had attendants be rude. First time I sat at a table with my part of 4 and no one came over to ask us what we would like to drink or gave us a menu. We sat there for a good 15 minutes.My second time there where only three of us and we sat down waited for about 5 minutes then finally had a lady come over and give us our menus. When it was time to order we had specific things we had allergies to or did not want and she was rude about when we told her we had to adjust what was added.For example when we told her no cheddar.She rolled her eyes and had an attitude when responding.Then when ordering a drink she gave it to us in a can no cup no ice .I will never be returning after 2 horrible experiences.I don’t recommended this place to anyone there are way better...

It’s seems like a front. First off nothing against the service because our waitress was lovely however, everything else was a weird mess. The food was half cooked and the DJ was blasting music like it was 12am at a club in DC on a Saturday (it was 6pm on a Wednesday in Rockville), I literally couldn’t hear the person sitting right next to me. We even asked if they could turn it down and nothing changed. It seemed like they were actively trying to empty the place out even though there were only 6 people in the whole restaurant, half of which were just drinking at the bar. Then we got the bill and the prices were insane. Between the intense volume, the half-cooked but expensive food, and the fact that they seemed annoyed that people were coming in to eat at all, it was just...
