I came to the Crumbl in Rockwall after my 15 hour nursing shift. It was around 10pm at this point. I walked in and was the only customer inside. As I walked in one of the workers shouted hey you got a customer at the counter. THREE of the employees did not want to walk to the counter to take my order. One kid said “no I’m wiping counters”. another kid complained and I heard someone reply “dude you’ve only been working here a week and you’re already complaining” another worker just flat out said he wasn’t coming to the counter, and finally, It was a red headed boy that came to the counter to take my order. He looked frustrated but I couldn’t tell if it was from the lack of help from his team or just annoyed that a customer (me) arrived. As he came to the counter he still greeted me with a fake smile and enthusiastic voice and took my order anyway. After working as a nurse for 15 hours helping patients, I go to Crumbl where several kids don’t even want to come to the counter to take my order to help me. I worked as a cake decorator for 12 years before I became a registered nurse, and I understand it’s frustrating to have your work interrupted by a customer when you are cleaning or decorating, but this atmosphere was beyond disrespectful. I wish I knew how easy and carefree my cake decorating job was back then compared to what I do now. I do compressions on ppl, give life saving meds, and some ppl still die, yet I walk into the next room with a smile on my face to help the next patient like nothing happened, because that what I signed up for and I’m an adult and life isn’t fair. It’s not about the wait time cause I was still given my order timely, it’s not about how they were out of the Oreo cake because I understand it’s the end of the week. It’s about how easy to tell how reluctant these young kids are at walking up to a counter to take an order. After working a long 15 hr shift, it just really ticked me off. These kids are in for a rude awakening as to how hard life can really be if they don’t want to take an order for cookies at the cookie store they applied to for the job they get paid for....

I picked up a Pink Sugar Cookie a couple days ago, so excited to see it back. Again, I was Very disappointed. The sugar cookie was bland, had no flavor or sweetness. The Very Thin layer of pink icing had no delicious almond flavor, None. I think I'm done trying and buying here. Might try a different location but I'm tired of wasting $$$. I really wanted it to be good.
Previous: I have been addicted to these cookies since last summer. Sadly the intensely delicious, sweet flavor of the cookies has waned significantly and has not been present in the last few I have gotten in the last few week. The white choc macadamia had zero flavor in cookie, chip or nut, the pb blossom bland (tiny choc dollup was ok, but barely a hint of pb in cookie and barely sweet), same for oatmeal cookie. So I'm wondering if it's location specific or ingredient quality drop across all stores. Also, Crumbl needs to bring back pink sugar and pecan pie and some other tasty originals more often. Too many new flavors every week. Bottom line, the cookies are too expensive to be less than amazing like they were. I'm going to try a couple more times then decide if I'm ...
Read moreI don’t really post reviews but I feel like I have to. When I first came to Crumbl around a year ago everything was great! The cookies, the service, the warm welcome everything was perfect.
But as of the last few months my experience has gotten worse.
Let’s start with coming into the store. Sometimes they have a team that says welcome to crumbl, sometimes they don’t (not really a big deal to me) but the point is the service is inconsistent. When asking a question or asking for something to be fixed they look at me like I’m bothering them.
Now The cookies….they rarely meet the standard of how it’s advertised. And when I ask for them to fix it, they say that’s how it is. For example, they’ll have missing white chocolate chips, or missing icing/frosting/drizzle. They seem to always be running out of something even if it’s early in the week or day.
Bottom line, I’ve been to other crumbls and the one in rowlett is amazing! Service is amazing and consistent as well as their cookies. They always look as advertised and I’m always pleased. Not so with the Rockwall location. Hope they can fix any issues they have as they used to be...
