CHECK YOUR DRINKS FOR BROKEN GLASS!!! Just got home from this restaurant as you can see in this receipt attached. My friend and I go there to have some sandwiches and a beer. My friend asks for a glass of water. As we are waiting for our food to come out, I sip on my beer as my friend drinks his water. Within minutes of sipping this water he felt something sharp almost cutting him in his mouth! He then pulls out a sharp piece of glass. I quietly call the waiters attention bringing our food, point out the piece of glass clearly at the tip of my finger. We mention to her, look maybe you guys need to check the ice ask friend nearly swallowed a piece of glass from this water you served. She then said "oh I'm sorry, I will go let the bartender know". As a Food & Beverage manner, I simply wanted to make them aware that this is DANGEROUS! Granted we enjoyed our meal, what was nerve wrecking and the reason to warn people of such an incident is because not a single Manage came out with an apology nor concern. Then they hand the check to us in full?! UNBELIEVABLE and such a lack of concern for there customers. I noticed the Manage from a distance and pulled her aside to ask if she was aware of the situation. She then claims NO-ONE brought it to her attention. She then try's to waive our bill as if it was a free meal we were after. Just sickening and poor customer service from staff and management to someone's "life" from possibly swallowing other prices he didn't realize!!! She said my name is Carol. Thank you for telling me this. No business card, no concern for a follow up to make sure my friend would be ok and no request of our information, god forbid something happens to my friend. I pray that my friend will be ok. Save yourself from this place if you can. They think a $37 bill waived would make it alright! I guess that's what they value there...
Read moreFirst impression walking in was uncomfortable and quite frankly sad. Allowing 16 year old snobby little girls in skin tight white dresses and sneakers to stand by the door and “greet” your guests is just inappropriate. These kids couldn’t be much older than our daughters ands I would be appalled if this was their first job. They do not hold the door, or even say hello or welcome… if standing in the way and staring at your guests is their job, then they nailed it. Whomever is in charge of greeting your guests should really take a good look at what they’re allowing here. We almost turned around and walked out for that reason alone…which is too bad because we love the food and drinks here. These “greeters” need to dress appropriately and for goodness sake put a smile on their faces…use the words “hello” or “welcome” would go a long way. My daughters saw how they were dressed and comport themselves and it’s a horrible example. How could you allow such rude behavior right at the front door? First impression is a big deal. Wearing appropriate clothing is a whole other topic. For this reason we will not be coming back to this location. Please coach your greeters, I feel sorry for them that they think this is okay. It’s not a night club… or is that what you’re turning wood n tap into nowadays? Just inappropriate and inexcusable…. It’s a shame because the food is great and the wait staff does a great job. Sad to ruin the whole experience by allowing these kids to parade around with a chip on their shoulders and sour looks on their faces. Excuse us for showing up and spending a lot of money at your restaurant. It won’t...
Read moreI did not want to be a Karen, but felt this feedback was necessary for both customers and staff to be aware.
I went to dine out with my girlfriends on Thursday October 23rd. I paid with a credit card. When the waitress brought us back our cards for us to sign our check, she brought me back someone else's card! I waited a few minutes and she was no where to be found. I had to go inside to find her. Finally, she came and realized that the gentleman had already taken off with my card. I understand it was an honest mistake- I waitressed for many years during my undergrad. But it was also INCREDIBLY careless.
Instead of taking responsibility and owning her mistake, she shifted the blame over to the guest stating "how could he NOT notice it wasn't his card" - which - ok fine. But who placed the card there? She did. She never owned her mistake.
Then when I asked her what she was going to compensate, she looked confused and asked what do you mean?" The least she should've offered right away was to take care of my bill. That's the LEAST she could've done.
The manager in duty came out and immediately took care of the issue. She offered a round of drinks and took care of my bill and called the police.
I eventually got my card back. I recently checked my bank statement (more than a week had passed) and they had not refunded me. I had to go to the restaurant since their number online is a 1800 number. The manager said he could give me cash or I would have e to wait for the refund process. So I took the cash.
So basically if I never would've noticed the bank statement- they would've never...
