Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Rocky Mount

Just stopped here for lunch on a work day. Walked in place seemed clean. Was greeted at the counter by Kiersten . Off The bat an employee like this is what really sets a pizza hut apart from the rest. Most of The time food is generally Good across the board. But this lovely young lady made this place. She was One of the most genuinely polite person I've ever met. Sometimes we've all had them. You get the ones that are a little grumpy. Sometimes they're kind of neutral and sometimes you can tell not normally. Maybe that good of a person but they're like faking it and forcing it. This young lady 100% was just a sweetheart. She kept my drinks full anytime. I asked her anything. It was smile on her face and just happy to help the customer in between customers and helping me. This young lady was wiping down tables sweeping floors. Summa tables didn't even look like they needed a wiping, but she would wipe it off again just to stay productive in between customers. What an amazing young lady! Next time I'm in this area and I'm stopping for lunch. I am sure I'm going to hit this place up again just because of such great service. A+ . The food was delicious. Also, they have some of my favorite hot wings. I'll order them. Was sit down. Drink brought to me. The wings made fresh and brought to me and my table were the best hot wings I have ever gotten...

Someone definitely is not telling me the truth here. So for months I’ve asked multiple employees at Pizza Hut Rocky Mount if they were ever gonna bring the buffet back. All of them said yes, then about a month ago one of the employees came thru where I worked at and told me that the buffet was coming back in early June. So I called them up just now to see what time their buffet is going to be open, and the guy was rude, had a bit of an attitude and eventually hung up on me. He told me that their buffet is currently broken, and that their buffet isn’t open on Saturdays but every other day of the week. Maybe I’m just tripping but something sounds really off here. Given the way the guy sounded, and the fact it sounded like he was giving multiple excuses, it sounds like he just is too lazy to go turn the buffet on. I’m not gonna jump to assumptions though because he could be telling the truth, but we had hardly been on the phone long and I was not finished talking with him, and he just hung up on me. We came in and was seated and noticed there was a large group party going on. We ordered and after getting our chicken wings we began to wonder where our pizza was as customers who came in after us were getting their pizza. Finally our waitress comes to the table apologetic and stated that our pizza was probably given to the group and they will give us complimentary chicken wings because of the mix up. A few minutes later our waitress brings those chicken wings and states, " These are your chicken wings but we are giving them to that table (pointing to another table behind us) and their waitress is putting in your order on hers now. " She then gave them those wings and we heard a woman's voice exclaim "Wow, that was so quick!" We just stared at each other amazed at what was happening. We were in complete disbelief. We later got "our" complimentary wings. Still missing our pizza. Finally we got our pizza and for some reason our pizza sauce tasted VERY sweet. Strange. Needless to say we...
