Wingstreet — Restaurant in Rocky Mount

Came in 2/9/24. They seemed to be short staffed so I tried to take that into consideration as my mother and I only saw 3 people actually doing work (2 cooking, 1 doing everything else). It took about 45 minutes for us to get our food and our appetizer came out with the food….kinda defeats the purpose. Tables were filthy and the phone was ringing constantly with no one answering it. And they weren’t busy. Our waitress was literally doing EVERYTHING when she had a chance, with no help when there were others who could have, taking orders, taking care of the drive thru, running food, bussing tables, and completing transactions. We watched our food sit in the window for a good 10 minutes before it was brought to us. It was cold and the mozzarella sticks were disgusting.

I get up to go and pay and LOW AND BEHOLD I see 2 OTHER PEOPLE doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING and one of them was sitting on the countertop vaping and on their phone in the back when there were about 3 tables needing to be bussed out front and someone sitting in the drive through waiting. The place is well kept the staff are friendly. The only issue I had was the person taking the order did not clarify that a small pizza does not come in pan thickness. At other stores I've had the staff refer to the pan thickness as hand tossed. So I ended up with a personal pan instead of a small. Medium apparently comes in pan thickness not small just FYI. Waitress was attentive, but I should have left when she told me that the wings were pretty good but pricey. I stayed. Ate salad bar. Tried to eat the hard as bricks boneless wings they sent me, but did not want a trip to the dentist this week. I thought they would do better at wings after my prior pizza delivery was burnt....
