Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Rocky Mount

I have been to Popeyes three times since they opened, and all three times there has been something missing from my order, the first time I ordered two platters from drive thru, when I got home two of my side’s were missing, second time I went through drive thru ordered two, two piece snacks waited at the window about ten minutes because they were frying mild chicken, didn’t check my bag because I just knew they had put everything in the bag, get home and biscuits were missing, third time I go to drive thru this time I checked my bag and the biscuit missing , I go in and tell the girl at the counter that my biscuits were not in my bag , told her that this was the third time this had happened and all she had to say was did I have my receipt, put my biscuits in the box. I can understand this happening once but three times, it will be a long time if ever before I go there again, not good...

I was driving to a friends house but was pretty late. I didn’t expect a Popeyes to be open until 11:00 pm, but when I searched I found this one. So I placed my mobile order. I was very hungry so I ordered a fish sandwich and the shrimp box. (They were offering 300 bonus points for ordering seafood…I took full advantage of that!). I get there, tell them I have a mobile order. The lady say “okay, but we don’t have any sandwiches, no fish, no chicken, drive around.” She didn’t offer me anything to replace it, nor did she know what I needed to do to get my money back. Luckily I knew that I could address this issue on the app and they sent me a $10 off offer. I knew this because I had an issue the day before at a Popeyes in my state (VA) where I ordered a fish sandwich, but when I arrived home they had given me a chicken sandwich. This location has good potential but there are enough people who don't care to pay attention to the orders that it is hard to recommend anything more than the ghost pepper wings. I went there last night (02/17/25) and ordered an 8 piece spicey and when I got home they had again given me mild. The mild has almost no flavor. This is the third time that has happened at this location and it will be the last. I will only get the ghost pepper wings as the employees can not mess that up.

This location has a few really good people working there but they have many others that do not seem to care if the customers get what they have ordered and paid for. The managers are all nice and well trained. But only 2 or three people that work the counter and drive thru care enough to listen to the the order, fill the order properly and pay attention to what is happening...
