Ruffino's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Rocky Mount

I have been coming here since I was a kid in 1985. The cost of running a business out of that mall can't be cheap. The fact that this place is the sole surviving original food restaurant in Golden East mall is a testament to the quality of the food they provide and the staff that provides it. I have never had a bad experience at this establishment. The staff is always friendly and makes time to check in and see how things are no matter how busy while I wait for the food.

The pizza is amazing! I give this place 5 out 5 pizza slices 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕

I have been here numerous times and try to support any business at the mall. This morning I went at 11 o’clock right when they opened. I saw a pan of premade slices that had been pulled out of the walk-in freezer. Before I paid, I asked if it was going to be a fresh slice or that, and he said, not this but a fresh slice. He then proceeded to put those slices in the oven.

Employee didn’t seem to care. I left without the pizza, they can keep my money.

I understand cutting costs, But the employee was not honest.

I went to this pizza place because I remember my mom taking me when I was young and I wanted to retry it, I got a supreme slice and it seemed like a slice of pepperoni pizza that was just covered in topping , it was a little bit cold. I was disappointed but I went back today a couple days later because I felt I just came on a bad day, I ordered the chicken calzone , that was very good. All in all I recommend the calzones , I don't blame them for the Supreme, just trying to use stock they prob needed...
