I used to LOVE this place. This used to be the best Taco Bell in the area and I have no idea what happened. I really try to give everyone grace cause I understand working in customer service is not for the weak and that’s why I always try and be extra forgiving for anyone having a rough day or any mistakes. But it has been a consistent issue that every time I come to this location the workers are always so mean for no apparent reason. They have messed up orders multiple times, which I know is a risk you take with any fast food but it’s almost consistent that something is either missing and/or the workers are just in the worst mood.
I came there to pick up a mobile order and the woman at the drive thru rolled her eyes, scoffed at me, and then slammed the window in my face. We ordered food again tonight and they were out of the new baja blast but instead of just asking us if we wanted a different drink they handed us a regular Baja blast and then got mad at us when we said we didn’t order that.
We were the only ones in the drive thru and they made it seem like the biggest inconvenience to them. I would almost understand if it was a bunch of teenagers working there (they still should be professional but I can give them more leeway) but these are grown adults acting like me ordering food at a fast food establishment is the worst thing I could ever do. This Taco Bell is the closest to my home but I will go out of my way to avoid going back here for the near future. I know the hiring pool is rough right now but I feel like it would be in this stores best interest to just completely rebuild and hire even the most APATHETIC employees. I would rather have someone give me nothing in terms of customer service than the rude attitude that is always given by these employees. Heck, throw the line cooks to be employee facing they would probably be more...
Read moreThe WORST Taco Bell experience... ever... in my life. I am 66 years old and have been a regular Taco Bell customer for 45 years. I am in Rocky River visiting family, was hungry late last night for a couple of tacos and a burrito, and never thought to read the reviews for this Taco Bell on Center Ridge at River Oaks Drive. It never crossed my mind that a Taco Bell THIS BAD would be allowed to exist, especially with ALL OF THE BAD REVIEWS! The food was atrocious and tasted nothing like what Taco Bell should taste like. It was inedible. I would like a refund but am not going to deal with the managers/owners of Taco Bell that is so obviously hellbent on destroying the Taco Bell brand. To Corporate Taco Bell, as a devoted 4 decade long customer, I say PLEASE SHUT THIS STORE DOWN until new owners/managers can get America's favorite Mexican food properly served at this Taco Bell restaurant. The staff was courteous enough. The food was prepared quickly. But little of that matters in the shadow of its awfulness - the meat was not just dripping, but running out of both the Taco Supremes and the Burrito Supreme. It was overladen with red sauce. The vegetables were present but hardly noticeable in the meat sauce flow. I could only manage a couple of bites before red flags overwhelmed my appetite... if the food was this badly prepared, then how likely was it to be safe to eat? After reading the reviews on Google... bad after bad after bad 1 star reviews, it is insane for the Taco Bell Corporation to allow this customer AND corporate image ABUSE to continue. If this were my first ever Taco Bell experience, it would be my last. But since I am a lifelong fan of Taco Bell, I will be back for more.... BUT NOT AT THIS LOCATION on Center Ridge Road in Rocky River, Ohio. That store is a...
Read moreThe only reason I am giving 1 star is because there is not an option for 0. After going to another local Taco Bell that had closed early I drove to the Rocky River Ohio location on Center Ridge Rd. All I wanted was some Taco Bell. We pulled up to the drive thru at approximately 12:51. The automated voice greets you with “hello will you be using your mobile app”. I say no. I proceed to wait 10min. I begin saying ‘hello hello” quite a few times. Zero response. At this point, I have cars behind me and I had already watched the car in front of me order and go through. I finally pull up to the window to see what was going on. I witnessed 1 lady in the dining room, 1 at the window and 1 in the back. The young lady at the window looked and me and my passenger and turned her back. Never opened the window to ask if we needed help or anything. Walks away. I honk my horn (quite perturbed at this point). The woman that was cleaning in the dining room came to the window with nothing but ugly ignorant attitude. I won’t post descriptions but I can 100% pick them out of a lineup. I explained that I sat at the intercom for 10min. She gives some sort of excuse and a lot more attitude. I respond “well I’m just trying to figure out how to place an order”. With more attitude she finally says “we can take your order here”. Told her that’s ok. No need. I wouldn’t give them a penny of my money after that. I have been to this location many times before and never had any issues…until now and I can guarantee 100% that I will not be going back!!!! I in turn had to drive to a 3rd Taco Bell to receive not just service, but good service! Shame on the team members that work the “late night” rush....
