Ozark is one of a select few of the "big" craft breweries that you'll see served and distributed across Arkansas - but their relative size does not diminish the beer itself. It's unfortunate, but I personally think the only great way to experience Ozark beer is by visiting the taproom. Their regular offerings which are canned and distributed range from "meh" to "really good," but the small-batch stuff at the taproom is some of the best beer in Arkansas, and where I think the brewers really shine.
I specifically want to shoutout Ozark for getting on the most quintessential NWA collab they could and brewing an Onyx Coffee Stout as a regular tap, because holy moly is it good - probably the best coffee stout I've ever had, top 3 at a minimum.
But I couldn't leave a review without mentioning the Golden Egg of the NWA beer scene, Ozark's prized BDCS, an annually-released, small-batch stout that will knock your socks off every year. 4-packs of the sweet nectar have to be reserved ahead of time, and they don't come cheap, but you (without any exaggeration whatsoever) get what you pay for. If you can manage to keep one off your lips, a buddy and I like to save one can from the current year in order to side-by-side with the next year, an experience I...
Read moreGreat selection 👍🏻 Great staff💁🏻♂️ Great building 🏚️
Craft breweries are always fun.🥳 And interesting. I especially like it when it's a hundred year old building of some sort that has been resurrected👷🏻♂️
The selection here is unique. I'm a fan of porters but they also have wine and whiskey and slushies. Cute little accessory shop with some unusual shirts.
Very interesting upstairs which has additional seating and indoor cornhole!
Huge outdoor seating area which is ideal for events, however in the summer it is horrible hot and the afternoon sun,🌞 it's right there🥵
A lady from a nearby bakery often sells fresh hot pretzels🥨 right there inside the building. That's a perfect fun touch. And as it turns out it's a better choice than the food truck outside. 🤦🏻♂️
I mention the food truck here but it has a separate review. It's a local BBQ place. It is not very good.😦 It is expensive...
Read moreGreat local brewery! My coffee Stout, brewed in conjunction with Onyx coffee company, was excellent as usual but the Kitty Claws Raspberry Lemonade Sour was AWESOME! Update 1/27/24...tried the Kombucha today. A wonderful blend of Blueberry Ginger and it is just as AWESOME as everything else I've ever tried at Ozark Beer Co! Edited 10/26/24- White Russian w/Pumpkin Spice is AWESOME! Try it before it disappears! 3/3/25...dang it! Another edit! Cocktails! Wonderful Cocktails are also awesome. Just had a Colorado Bulldog that was very, very tasty! Edited: 08/23/25... Still have never had a "bad beer" here! IPAs aren't MY thing, but OBC has some on tap I can drink. I still prefer lagers and stouts but I try every IPA and APA they dream up because, one day, I will find one I...
