Had an exhausting experience at the Pleasant Grove Popeyes today. I ordered online for my family thinking that I could avoid the car line like I had at every other take-out restaurant I’ve ordered from. A google search of Popeyes told me take-out was available so I assumed I could go in and grab my bag or something similar. The door was locked (which was no big deal, I get it), but after getting back into to my car I saw an employee bringing food to the car next to me. I thought this meant they delivered to your car as many other restaurants do. Upon calling the location to have my food also brought to my car, they snapped, “no the lobby is closed you have to go through the line” with no further explanation. I have no idea what the lobby being closed has to do with take-out, it’s not like I was going into the restaurant either way. I had already waited 20 mins before coming to pick up my order, 10 in the parking lot, then on top of that another unnecessary 15 in the car line even though all of my food had already been ordered, paid for, and waited for. When I finally got up to the window, I was told that my order was not ready and was asked to pull into a parking space for my order to be taken out to me. I could not believe this. They were doing the very thing I had asked for in the first place, but on top of that I had to wait in the impossibly long car line. I pulled into the very parking spot I was in when I called to ask for it to be taken out to me way earlier. After 10 more minutes in my parking spot, an employee came out and dryly said “name” then put my food through the window and walked off. I don’t know what I was expecting but it was at least a “hi how are you” or even a quick apology for my wait time. After the whole thing, I opened my chicken box to find that the chicken tenders contained barely any chicken. It looked more like they scooped the breading from the bottom of the fryer and boxed it up. Not to mention, there were only enough fries to cover the bottom of the box. Despite ordering the Family Meal, it was not enough to feed my four-person family. I will not being returning to this location but if you do, moral of the story is do not order off the app, the food looks like the scraps they throw out at the end of the day, and employees are snappy and...
Read moreHorrible service. I had ordered two combo meals and when I opened the bag I was missing a 5 pc chicken tender combo and a 1/2 lb popcorn shrimp, and all the dipping sauce for the other combo. I tried calling, but they weren’t answering the phone. I drove to the physical location and spoke to the representative Andrea was incredibly unhelpful. I explained the situation and asked her to make it right and she refused. She said since I ordered it through a 3rd party app I needed to request a refund through them. I explained I didn’t want the refund, I just wanted my food. She said there’s nothing she could do and I was out of luck. I asked her to check if there was a second bag of food, even willing to just accept the original make of food (even though it’s be cold) and she said there wasn’t any. I asked to speak to her supervisor and I was surprised when she said she’s the AM and there was nothing she could do. I asked for the contact number for her DM Crystal and she wouldn’t give me her information. I asked for an email and she wouldn’t give me anyway to escalate the problem. She told me I could call tomorrow around 10am and speak to her DM then. I explained that I had tried calling before driving over and no one answered the phone. She said they were short staffed. I replied maybe that’s why I was missing an entire combo and sides and the shrimp and she laughed and said they don’t make mistakes. She laughed and said the dasher probably kept the food. What? Incredibly rude and unhelpful, and I didn’t appreciate her laughing. She wouldn’t even give me the dipping sauce that was missing for the other combo. I briefly considered just re-ordering the food, I was hungry and had wasted my time and gas money driving to the restaurant, but I don’t want to support this chain any more than I have. Stay away from...
Read moreI ordered my food online before I got to the store. Before i went through the drive thru, i noticed a van in the parking lot. I parked next to it because my 4 year old had to use the restroom. I pull up and they told me to go to the window. After sitting at the window for about 3 minutes, they had me pull around to the front and wait. 20 minutes go by and I see someone get out the van and go inside. I got tired of waiting and went inside as well. The gentleman in the black van was waiting for his order and he been waiting the whole time. While inside I noticed everyone standing in a circle next to the fryer just talking. A couple of the guys was just talking and eating while just standing around. One person just looked at me and kept walking to go join the conversation. After a minute she asked if I needed help. I told her I went through the drive thru and I was waiting on my order. She walks to the back and grabs someone else and the other lady ask for the name and pulls my order off the rack for door dash orders. So who knows how long my order been sitting on the rack with the bag open. When I get the order then they proceed to tell me they were out of a product. Why would they have me park then just forget about me. Let alone, I feel for the guy in the van who was there atheist 45 minutes. My food was cold and stale. I ordered a six piece wing, I got 4 wings and a chicken tender cut in half for the other two wings. That was the worst experience I've had. Beside the slow store in Centerton. Atleast the food is hot. I would've took pictures but I left my phone in the car. These kids need...
