The pupusas and curtido are so good! They have a huge selection of different pupusas, as well as loads of other dishes. The frijol y queso are my fave, but I really enjoyed the chicharron and the camaron y queso I got, as well. They have the best arroz con leche, horchata, and jamaica I have had since moving to Arkansas. You can easily feed two people a full meal for like $14, and the food is WAY better than anything you'd get at other places for that price. Also, again, I cannot praise their curtido enough 🙏🏻
The ordering online seems to have a couple of issues sometimes, but I think that's just a thing that comes with the times, and a small business. The staff were great, and everyone had a very kind, generous, and welcoming vibe. Tables and the rest of the building were immaculately clean, social distancing and masks were enforced appropriately. Their signs are in Spanish, but are easily understood if you don't know any Spanish, and the staff seemed fine with answering any questions.
I was particularly fond of the really cool rendition of The Last Supper they had on the wall! I'm used to living in a place where I had loads more options for Central and South American food and restaurants, but had been kinda sad about not finding anything as good here in NW Arkansas as I was used to back home. Buuuuuut, this place totally won me over, and is ony way home from work, so I will probably...
Read moreGot there yesterday with family from out of town who wanted salvadorian food. The waitress did give us menus and took our drink order. I normally would not be mind waiting but we were the only ones in there when she took the drink order for us. Next thing you know after talking and waiting for a long time and decides what we wanted we noticed two other groups of 2 and 4 people come in and a different waitress took their drink orders and brought them out right away and came put with an ipad and took their orders. We were ready to order and had not got our drinks by this time so if the other waitresses (2) of them are faster and better why do they make eye contact with you and know you are waiting and want to order yet they dont say anything make any sign to us or even come over and help their coworker. The "not my table, not my problem" type of service is awful for a business. Coming from a former chikfilA employee where they just want to provide great service and make people happy. you can tell these people do not care and will do the bare minimum. no wonder its empty. I would...
Read moreOrdered food to go so I can't speak for the dine in service but they definitely make the best pupusas in North West Arkansas hands down! If you don't know what a pupusa is or you do and just haven't been you're missing out! If you look at it from the outside it looks like a small place in the same shopping mall as a supermarcado. When you go inside you'll be surprised at how much seating is there! The menu has Spanish and English catering to both needs with bilingual staff on hand as well. I've used them to cater events too where I place a large order for carryout which has been amazing as they use good packaging to keep your food fresh and warm. Just make sure you do it in advance so they have time to make what you need. Great place, amazing food, and low prices. It's the...
