Synopsis : Customer service is the worst I've ever experience for any product. Go into the store for help and you will be High pressured to buy a much more expensive phone and want to charge you $25 for activating phone (what used to be $10) Free if DIY but they don't tell you that. So I went to Wal-Mart and bought the boost phone CHEAPER than the boost Store! and the guy at Wal-Mart activated it for me for FREE!!!
Note: After this experience normally I'd drop the whole meager service in a heartbeat but I'm grandfathered into an old $30 plan so I wanted to stay with the service (which is not great provider but barely okay if you use it around here and in certain locals) ...Get what you pay for right?
Story: I tried to purchase a phone for my child's Christmas present online trying to take advantage of a supposed "upgrade discount". Customer service advised me to go into a local store to pay for the phone and they will mail the new phone because my credit cards are all associated with a post office box so they could not complete the order online or on the phone All while dealing with hard to understand "English speaking" customer service rep (Another 2 day entertaining experience!! ) .
Went to local stores in Rogers Ar. Regional Sales mng Carlos was giving extremely high pressure "bait and switch tactics" trying to sell me his 4 times more expensive phone refusing to let me pay for the phone as advised by customer service so they could mail me the phone advertised . So I went to a different store waiting 30 minutes for the rep to help 3 other customers before I could to speak to her who upon greeting, seemed like she would and could help. . . ! Only to be blocked by Carlos the regional manager who came into that location speaking spanish forbidding her to help.
What a Nice Guy !
Then I learned Wal-Mart sells boost phones !
(BTW they have absolutely NO Appreciation or Loyalty for their loyal customer's but Supposedly a free phone if you switch ) . Moral: I've had boost for Many yrs and would have kept it to myself as I have over the yrs. Simple never made the effort before to place this review and wouldn't have but Carlos deserves...
Read moreIve been a boost mobile customer for 5 years. I went into the boost store on 8th street to buy my wife a new phone. I was talked into a phone I really couldn't afford at the moment but it came with a $50 rebate so I bought it. 3 months later and I never received that rebate. I called numerous times and eventually was told the owner/manager would call me. Here we are a week later and nothing. No call. No rebate. Nothing. Turns out the employee never sent in my rebate and now I'm out $50. Great. I guess ill just buy online from now on. These guys apparently don't know how to talr care of a very loyal customer. Ive bought at least 5 phones thru them. Never again. Oh one more thing. They told me I "qualified for an upgrade" so I did. The phone was $179, after the upgrade discount it was $149. Turns out Best Buy sells it for...

Thank you for providing positive customer service experience the other day while on the phone (No not in store oddly). I know it was a complicated situation, unfortunately the number provided to seek farther assistance hung up on me and situation wasn't resolved. 3 Stars isn't reflected on anything the employee's did, it's the company itself from what I'm dealing with. FROM MY EXPERIENCE I DON'T RECOMMEND this PLAN ONLINE or buying From Walmart or any 3rd party seller, they're horrible and have been since day 1 but $25 a month is all I can afford right now. I CAN'T SPEAK For IN-STORE or in person experiences directly with...
