King Burrito — Restaurant in Rogers

I didn't see any nachos on the menu. I asked and they said they could make nachos with carne asada and beans to go. They said they would use fried pieces of corn tortilla which I said is okay as long as it's crispy. I mean a restaurant that doesn't even have tortilla chips! They also said they did not have sliced jalapenos but will slice two jalapenos for me which was nice of them. . I asked they put the jalapenos on the side because my friend doesn't like jalapenos. They mixed the jalapenos in all that mess... They created. Not only were the tortilla chips soggy and had a lot of white milky juice on there from I don't know what?It was like they threw coleslaw salad on top of it very little beans and very little carne asada it was a mess to eat. There was no melted cheese on it just sprinkle shredded cheese cold. The worst nachos I've ever seen in my life and I'm from South Texas. It was more like a soggy salad then real nachos. Not worth the $10 and change I paid. You're supposed to be able to eat nachos with your hands I couldn't even do that I had to use a fork to kind of pick at it. LOL please Google or look up nachos on YouTube to learn how to make them properly because nachos don't have salad on top, it's mainly just beans, cheese or whatever meat you want to put on it. And they are supposed to be crispy and be able to eat it with your hands. Not soggy fried burned pieces of odd shaped corn tortillas with wet dripping salad and juice on it. I wanted to go back and get my money back but my friend was driving and she said it was too far. Next time I know to open it up and look at my food to go before I leave a place. I had been wanting try King Burrito because I keep seeing them pop up all over Northwest Arkansas. I was NOT impressed. The food was edible, but not something to get excited about. I ordered a taco, it was Tuesday. The sign out front says tacos are $1 on Tuesday. Not sure what you get for $1. I ordered a regular ground beef hard shell taco and paid $1.97 for it (before tax). Visually, it looked good. Not $2 good. Just good. There was no special flavor that made me feel like I will crave a taco from there again. Like I said, it was edible, nothing more. The wait in the drive-thru was longer than I expected. This is a fast-food chain. I was waiting in line behind another vehicle, and felt it was taking quite a while but assumed they had a large order, or had ordered something special. While waiting in line, I got a phone call and asked the caller if I could return their call in a few moments so that I could take care of my money transaction when I got to the window. I could have taken the call and chit-chatted to pass the time! Once I finally got to the window and paid for my order, I waited an usual length of time before ever receiving my one taco. Food used to be ridiculously delicious up until 2011 or so. It has been going downhill and their customer service has been steady in front of this race to the bottom. You don't get a simple "thank you" or "you're welcome" from any of the employees. They almost make you feel like you woke them up on Christmas morning and forced them to come into work so they can cook you something for free. Almost makes you feel bad or something. Until you get your food and taste it. There's just no more passion in their burritos which used to be their specialty obviously. What happened to your signature thick cut slices of avocado on top of the king burrito? If you still top it off with those then I must've showed up on the day you ran out. I will say that the shrimp tacos are flavorful and pack a good flavorful punch. Will probably only go back just for those. I actually wouldn't mind eating there again just to support local small (not anymore but still) hispanic businesses, but the customer service and just general vibe of the staff makes me feel like maybe that's not something yall care...
