I went to this McDonalds on 7/30/20 at about 8:30 am. The drive thru was wrapped around the building so I went in to grab breakfast before going on to work, so yes I was in a hurry. I get to the counter and the girl there ask if I wanted a mask. I replied no and she proceeded to tell me she couldn't take my order because I didn't have a mask. I proceeded to tell her about Gov. Kemp's executive order about mask and the ADA's mandate about mask and what fines could be levied against them. A gentleman near her told me to leave her alone and said I wouldn't be served unless I got a mask. Now they have plastic partitions, had mask and gloves on and I was standing back from the counter about two steps.I addressed this man and repeated what I told the girl. He told me they would not serve me unless I had a mask on and I could go thru the drive thru. As I stated before the drive thru was wrapped around the building and I didn't have time to sit there and wait. I left and went elsewhere. Now I don't know if this guy was the manager or not, but he was behind the counter making coffee or something and I could not determine by the blue T-shirt he wore who he was. In the last 4 weeks I have been into several McDonalds and have not been refused service at any. I will never patronize McDonalds ever again and I will be spreading the word of how I was treated. I will be reporting them to the ADA and the governor's office. I know a big company like this doesn't care about loosing a few customers but their customer...
Read moreLast week we dealt with an extremely rude employee and the manager we finally talked to wasn't much better. She shorted us one cup and then gave us a hard time about getting another cup. One drink was a water, so she forgot to give a cup for water. She also did not give us two other items we ordered and demanded to see our receipt for proof and acted as though she was mad that we were correct. We finally got the manager on duty over to us to get us the stuff we were missing as the cashier just walked away from us. When we explained to the manager what had happened, the cashier was very ugly and snapped that she told us to wait. The manager made no apologies and didn't seem to care. A very nice lady who was helping in the drive thru came over and assisted us in getting the rest of our order. Our order was a little over $50 so I understand them forgetting a few items, but the rudeness over her mistake was so unnecessary. We also had a coupon for 6 free nuggets that my niece got from school for good grades, but the cashier said it couldn't be used at this store as it said to be used in any of the 45 counties around the metro atlanta area. Why would mcdonalds give out coupons to schools if the coupons can't even be used in the area? It's got to be disappointing to the children who earned them. Seems like a pretty mean thing to do to children. I was shocked by just how negatively we...
Read moreWe came primarily for the indoor playground. Of course, the food is the usual McDonald's fare. The problem was that it was a dry day, the day before had been rainy, but there was a large puddle in the play-place. Some unattended leak in the roof had crept in and doused the various levels of the play tubes and chambers.
Now, of course, these things do happen, on occasion. That is to be expected. But, their response was one of insubstantial concern. They eventually cordoned off the area, stating that they wanted to "give it some time to dry." Of course, that didn't resolve, address, or even report the true issue. Additionally, if they had inspected the problem, they would have conceded that the puddle was far too large to allow it to resolve itself. 🤦♂️ It has likely caused mold, mildew, or other problems by now.
The inattention to the problem is the real concern. It was not a busy day. There were few diners in the building, but they shut the area down instead of correcting the greater problem.
This conveyed an apathetic response to potentially significant health...
