I have mixed feelings about this place. The ginger dressing on the salad needs improvement. It was bland and had an odd texture, and everyone at the table agreed it wasn’t great. Unfortunately, the sushi was also a letdown. No one enjoyed it, and we wouldn’t order it again. The presentation, in particular, could use some attention. As other reviewers have mentioned, the service isn’t the strongest. The staff didn’t come across as particularly friendly or welcoming, which affected the overall experience. On the positive side, the Panang curry had good flavor but was too watery. If you prefer more heat, definitely ask for it extra spicy. Even then, it doesn't make you sweat. The curry would benefit from more coconut cream to give it that rich texture instead of being thin and broth-like. I also tried the General Tso’s chicken, which was tasty, though the broccoli was undercooked and tough to eat. The standout dish for us was the Mongolian Beef — it was excellent and easily our favorite of the meal. Skip the crab rangoon — it just wasn’t good. On a better note, the lunch portions were surprisingly large, and the atmosphere is quite nice. Despite some misses, we plan to return and try a few other dishes. Hopefully, we’ll have a better experience next time.

First visit to Osaka Japanese Fusion Restaurant this evening. The service was amazing. Atmosphere was fine, not overly loud, very clean. We had a California Roll, the fillet and chicken hibachi with fried rice and the filet and salmon with fried rice. The food came out quickly. The steak was a little over (ordered medium rare), but tasty and very tender minus a bite or two. The salmon was great, as was the chicken. Usually hibachi chicken is over cooked and dry, drowned in teriyaki sauce to try to make up for it. Osaka's chicken was tender and juicy and the teriyaki complimented it rather than trying to disguise it. Probably the best teriyaki chicken I've had. I was not a fan of the miso soup (I prefer the more clear version), nor of the salad. We usually get ginger dressing. This dressing appeared to be the typically "other" choice at Japanese restaurants (thousand Island), but was supposedly ginger. It had a very interesting "potato salad" taste. Also, the fried rice that came with the meals seemed more like steamed rice with soy sauce rather than actual fried rice. Overall, decent food, we will probably come back and try something different.

I ordered The Taste of Osaka. The Royal King Roll was AMAZING! 5☆☆☆☆☆! The Lightly Seared Tuna was incredible. The lobster tempura was decent. The steak portion was prepared atop different vegetables than what was stated on the menu. Those vegetables were barely cooked, if at all. (Patrons do pay attention to these things.) I ordered the steak medium-rare. It was rare. It wasn't terrible, but it was so rare that it was hard to chew. I would never choose a meal that came with steak, from here again. But I'll definitely be back for the Royal King Roll and the tuna, alone. Their house dressing was the best I've had at any Japanese or Sushi restaurant. I will be back. As far as the prices, my dinner was $35. My husband's meal was $16-ish..

Came in over the weekend to celebrate my boyfriends birthday with 11 of our closest friends and family members. As soon as we were seated,we were warmly welcomed by our server Cassey. She was so sweet and attentive to all of our needs, and some of my family can be quite needy and picky, yet she met everyone of their requests with a smile on her face the whole time. I know taking 12+ orders and then actually remembering who had what was hard, yet she surprised us all when our dish was set in front of each of us correctly. Our food was about amazing. From the hibachi, the steak was mouthwatering, melt in your mouth delicious to our sushi rolls, the Rome roll [ which cassey suggested, as well as the Royal King she also suggested] was a major hit at our table. You could taste every single ingredient and know it was fresh,it was a party in our mouths ,is what my nephew said after a bite. Our drinks stayed filled up and every request was attended to. Once our food was ate and we were paying which I also should note, she was amazing at separating our tickets and getting them to the correct person, our server overheard me speaking about my fiancé's day, as we had not mentioned it. When I tell you, within 7-10 minutes, as we were all enjoying each other's company and such, here comes our server, with an awesome sign lit up saying, " Happy birthday from Osaka!", as well as 2 plates of Deep fried Oreo's ( soo good ) with a lit candle in one, followed by several other staff members, singing happy birthday to him!!! She even took pictures of us for me!! I absolutely enjoyed everything about this restaurant, the atmosphere, the amazing delicious food and of course our new friend Cassey!! She truly has a way of being professional but also making you feel like your family. May i also add, that as she was serving my very large party and she was so great with us, we watched and she was also serving 3 other tables at same time! If you happen to dine In one day, hopefully you to will be able to experience the same level of professionalism as we did and the amazing delicious freshly made food!! Rome GA truly has hit the jackpot with this restaurant! See you all...

I have ate here alot, and have always had a great experience with the service, food etc. One person who is truly overlooked and doesn't get enough praise is the Host, usually always Cassey. She always has a smile on her face, very friendly and now knows us by our name/faces and always makes us feel like family. Today I witnessed a few things,1st being her alone at the host desk, trying to sit everyone [ packed restaurant], take orders on the phone and also ring customers up,once again ALONE. There seemed to be some backed up orders, and a few customers, later I heard her say they were from doordash, were extremely upset and taking it out on her,yet she stayed very professional, apologizing several times, even though it had nothing to do as her fault. I then witnessed a man whom I assume as a boss, become very upset and blaming her for a misplaced ticket,or something of the nature, and once again, she apologized and tried to make sure it was took care of. I dont understand how anyone could possibly get so upset with someone who is doing so much, alone. From what I witnessed,She was handling everything with such grace and professionalism, making sure everyone was taken care of,without any rushing . Every table sat was told whom would serve them, told to enjoy their experience, and always smiling. The man should evaluate how his customers are always looking and listening and their attitude and how they treat employees, holds high standards when we choose a restaurant, not just food or service. She is a 5 star employee, and should be treated with same respect my family ALWAYS sees her...

Update time: The manager replied to my review. Just wanted to clarify. They never offered to correct my meal. I actually cut them off before they offered that because I was already late getting back to work at this time. They also pointed out me correcting them on the doneness of my steak. My issue wasnt me correcting them on the doneness of my steak. My issue is with the lack of accountability by blaming me for the problem. The owner, himself, said "that's just how it is." I did appreciate the halfway attempt at correcting the problem by giving me 20% off...when the steak was the only item not eaten on my plate. So I basically paid full price for a half portion of hibachi chicken. My advice going forward. Dont condescendingly blame yoir customers for your errors. Just apologize and try to fix the problem!

So, went in for lunch today. I was excited as it was my first time going there. My boss and I ordered the same plate. Hibachi steak and chicken. When we got our food, my boss' steak and chicken were steaming hot. My steak was cool to the touch when it was brought out. Instead of owning up and apologizing for the mistake, the owner came and said my steak was cold because I had ordered it medium rare. IT WAS COLD BECAUSE OF HOW I PREFERRED IT! I always eat steak medium rare to medium and this is the very first time ANYBODY said my steak was cold because it was cooked medium rare. And it wasnt even medium rare! More like medium well. For the owner to say that to me instead of just correcting the issue was outrageous! Unfortunately customer service will cause me...
