My company orders ALOT from this location, for meetings, for clients, & personally. After Today, we will no longer be Ordering from this location. The countless number of times we have ordered from this location, we have never had a problem, it has always been a very professional, friendly experience.We had a vendor that wanted to have lunch delivered to us, so we chose chicken salad chick, as always for our lunch choice. Our vendor placed an online order, to be delivered to our office. The order was delivered, per the receipt, we were missing a single croissant. I called the restaurant and explained the situation, and was told I could come to the restaurant and pick up the Croissant, that was left out of our order. When I arrived at the restaurant, the drive-through was back up. I parked and went inside the restaurant, once inside, I Told the girl at the counter I was there to pick up, an item left out of our order. Then a girl from the drive-through, came to the front with a bag with our vendors name on it. I said thank you and was about to leave the restaurant, when I was told a manager was coming to speak with me. I was obviously thanking they were going to apologize, for the missing item, and the fact that we still had to drive to pick it up, even though it was to be delivered. A girl came to the counter, she told me she was a manager, I believe she said her name was Kayla. She told me that she had talk to management and she was told that we were to pay for the certain croissant, She said we were allowed the first croissant free, and the second one needs to be paid for. I clearly explain to her and showed her the online order receipt, it clearly explained the chicken salad, and egg salad word to be on a croissant. She still emphasized this croissant had to be paid for right then. I was about to go to my car, to get my wallet, when I turn around, and told her that was fine, I would not be paying for something that was already paid for. I didn’t explain to her that we were a returning customer, as a company, and we would probably not be using their business any longer. She proceeded to tell me, that’s fine, Do what you need to do. Obviously, I was in total shock, at the lack of concern, and Customer service. I didn’t left the restaurant, and proceeded to call the corporate office in Atlanta. I had to leave a message for guest services, and no one returned my call. I called The Cartersville store, and was told the Rome location, was independently owned. To my great surprise, and utter shock, to find out the owner of this specific location, in Rome, was the founder of chicken salad chick. What started out as a normal working day, that was to be a nice change, to have our lunch delivered, definitely did not turn out the way it should have. I will say, Of all the times I’ve been in this location, this is the very first experience I have had like that. The only words I can use to describe, is shock, amazement, and just to lack of total respect,For the customer. So after receiving our lunch that was delivered, driving to the restaurant, with no resolution, I left the restaurant, went straight to Publix, and purchased croissants, for my coworker, and myself. Read moreNow that the new has settled and things are kind of back to normal business with current times being the way they are. I really enjoy going during lunch time. Having the option of dining in or out is wonderful. Since I work indoors all day, having the option for in or out, hands down it will be out unless there just isn't a seat. This past week we even had a little bit of rain while dining, but that was fine. The menu has a good variety of flavors of chicken salad along with a couple of other options for those that do not eat chicken salad. The Jalapeno Holly is my go to, but they are all good. Great choices for sides too. Their broccoli salad as a side is my favorite. My wife likes the grape salad as her side. They even top of The Chick option with a small cookie. They always have a good taste of music in the background and not overpowering your conversations. They bring your order to the table and always come around two or three times to make sure everything is OK. CSC is a great option for lunch or dinner.
