Salon Ten 17 — Local services in Rome

First, a little background on an experience with another salon... I had previously gone to a salon with cheap prices because money was a bit tight, I desperately needed a haircut, and was in between stylists. Ladies, do not do this! Save up for a decent haircut! The lady completely botched my hair and I spent 3 months growing it back out.

I decided to come to Salon Ten 17 because of the great reviews. I was so anxious and nervous but hopeful they could fix the bad cut. They did not disappoint! Amie Riggs is simply AMAZING. She talked me through every single step because she knew I was apprehensive. She listened to what I wanted, asked me questions about it, and made sure I got exactly what I'd like. I had to have a lot of length cut off to make it blend, but the result was super cute and sassy. She let me see the cut several times during the process, too. Amie is pure magic! I’ve known Cindy for many years, we worked together early in our careers at the mall. We lost touch through the years. Cindy came back into my life a few months after my son was killed in a car accident, October 27 will be 2 years. Cindy reached out to me and asked if there was anything she could do for me, I thought about it for a minute and said yes can you please start doing my hair again! I have absolutely NEVER been disappointed after an appointment. From “Hey. I want bangs!” to “You pick the color.” and “What do you think about XYZ?” Cindy has been coloring/cutting/styling hair for long enough to understand her clients wants vs their needs. I am a ‘low upkeep’ kinda girl and Cindy knows how to guide me through the process of a new style/color/cut. My husband and bonus kid have course, crazy thick hair and they always look polished when they get their cut from Cindy.
