Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Rome

My husband, my mother, and myself always stop at Zaxby's in Rome Georgia. This used to be one of the favorite places that my husband and I always went to. Today that changed. We parked our car and went inside to sit down and eat. After placing our order which happened to be as follows. My husband ordered the 10 piece chicken fingers, my mother and I got the same thing that we always order which happens to be the five fingers plate. We both got one. These three things that was ordered came up to right at $30. The first thing that was noticed came from my mother. She stated that the coleslaw did not taste right. Once I opened my small bowl of coleslaw, I noticed something missing from the table. There was no salt and pepper shakers at any of the tables. My husband and I do eat here a lot and there has always been salt and pepper shakers at every table. I always add pepper to my coleslaw. I had to go stand in line to get salt and pepper packets. When it came to the two drinks that came with the meals, there was no sweet tea in the lobby and the cashier had to chase down some sweet tea so we could get the drink that we wanted. We had to wait 10 minutes to get our food which is understandable because the order was large. The next thing is the chicken. The butter on the chicken was extremely thin. It was like the chicken set in water for a very long time. The chicken had no taste other than the taste of water and chicken. There was no celery sticks that normally come with the mill. The women's restroom could have been cleaned better than what it was. Several months back they changed the chicken wings and that is what we always ordered at that point in time was the Wings and Things. After changing the chicken wings, the wings was no longer Zaxby's so that stopped us from ordering hot wings. My husband managed to eat a total of three chicken fingers of the 10 that he ordered. My mother and I only managed to eat two pieces of chicken fingers from each of our plates. The rest is going home to my dogs to eat because the taste was awful and disgraceful to Zaxby's. This Zaxby location has lost us as a customer. We will not go back to that Zaxby's. the only reason why it got a two star rating is because of the sweet tea. That is the only thing that has not changed at that store and the cashier was great. if it was not for the cashier and the sweet thing they would have gotten a one star rating. Went in and placed our order. Everything was going good. Then after we received our drink cups we started to fill them. There were 2 ice vending machines neither of them had ice in them. So went back and stood in line again to get the person up front to fill with ice. We then went to sit down at our table to wait on our food. The restaurant was so hot we were sweating just sitting there not comfortable at all. Food came out in a reasonable time. I then went to pick up my tray and as always pick up napkins and such on the way back. The napkin holders were all empty. So once again went up front and stood in line to ask for napkins. After we received those a went and set down at the table. Looked around there was not any salt and pepper shakers on the table. So I went over to where the condiments are and there was not any there. So once again I waited in line to get salt and pepper. All of this while sweating because it's hot in the restaurant. So as we set there eating my wife wanted a refill on her drink. I proceeded to go do this for her and what do you know drink dispenser is out of diet Coke. Once again I go stand in line to get a refill. At this point it is just getting funny. My wife and I finished our meal and before heading home I thought I would go use the rest room. After doing so I washed my hands as always, guess what comes next? There were 2 towel dispensers and as you already guessed both are empty. Wow what a lunch...

My husband and I had went in to eat and noticed that the floor was very slick with like grease in the mop that made it extra slick. We have ate there a lot inside and have never had this problem. Also after we got through eating I went up to the cashier at the counter and asked her why it was so slick. This is not a wet from just mopping but a very slick greasy feeling walking on the floor. Their was a couple that was walking across the floor and noticed it too. The young black cashier in a blue shirt is short and she talked smart to me in front of them and a couple of other people too. She said you didn’t fall did you. Then the white girl in red shirt started laughing . She said we did y’all a favor letting you come in. We don’t have to open the door to let you come in. That’s how she said it and continued talking smart to us on front of customers. And the other lady facing the ones behind the window where your order gets put up was thinking it was funny.
