The most unprofessional, irresponsible, and inefficient Panda Express I have ever visit. They have put me off of the whole chain. I have visited the place three times and after this last time I am now done with the whole Panda Express chain.
Every time I have gone in there the people serving food are doing it in the most inefficient way possible meaning that one stands in line for an inordinate amount of time in order to even look at the food they are serving.
One gal ran the register, took orders over the phone, took online orders, served food, dealt with customer service and literally waited for five minutes with the till open so that some manager can get her one dollar bills. I mean congratulations to that gal for trying to juggle all that but it is not that efficient. The result is ordering the food 45 minutes ahead of going to pick it up and having to wait another 10 minutes for them to actually fill the order.
Online I ordered Honey Walnut Shrimp at 3:30pm on a Friday to pick up at 4:15. I arrived at 4:15 to a packed house and people waiting in line to pick of their orders as well as people standing in line to order food in person. They explained that they were out of the elusive shrimp FOR THE DAY. It's not even peak dinner time and they ran out of their most expensive and best item and did not call or notify me before I got there. I then picked out a replacement, did not get a refund for the extra money I spent for the shrimp I didn't get and returned to my car. At which point I opened up the box to discover that also instead of the chow main that I ordered I received fried rice.
So I'm done. I'm not going to spend extra money for bad service, not getting the items I requested and ending up with sub par Chinese. Instead of going here I would recommend one of the affordable, tasty, and good local restaurant...
Read moreI called today at 7:30 to place my order for me and my family my husband got there at around 8:00 and he asked for our order and they said they had no order and he saw an order there ready and he told them that he thought that was for him so he told them and the worker just said that that order was for somebody else so he just started ordering again and mid way through him ordering again the lady was like oh my bad that other order was urs so he was like okay and brought it home for us and part of my niece plate was burnt(it had a hole in the bottom) and her food had little pieces of plastic so I went and returned it and all I wanted was a new plate which consisted of orange chicken, brócoli beef and half and half and when I got my new plate I saw that the broccoli beef was basically only broccoli so I just went back and told them and the lady said that they were like 3-4 min away from closing but I explained that I had that order since 7:30 but that the plate was burned so I had to return it and she said that they would cook a new batch and she said she would take it out for me when it was done so I assumed that meant she would take it outside to my car since I was parked basically right in front so I went and sat there and I just waited and waited and like at 9:17 I thought it was taking awhile so I got off and it was locked and I saw that they saw me but they didn't come out to open so I knocked and then one of the employees came close to the door and said they weren't legally allowed to open the door pass the closing time which is when I got upset cause I was waiting outside like an idiot for my food and I started explaining again everything that happened and then I asked when the manager was gonna be there so I could talk to her because this is not right the service...
Read moreThey need a better system. We go to Panda Express because we like the food but today the food was nearly inedible. And that’s because, even though the app said my order was ready, the cashier said it wasn’t. She didn’t check to see how long it would be. She just stood there waiting for the line to work their way to her. She served a dozen people ahead of me - never checking on my order. When I finally asked if the food sitting on the back counter was mine, I was told it didn’t matter because the cashier can’t touch it until it’s on her shelf. Another woman came out of the back and asked my name. She grabbed a bag from behind the cashier that had been there when I walked in 26 minutes earlier. The cashier gave a depressed quiet “sorry,” as if working there was the worst life experience she’d ever had. No one offered to make it again or apologized for stealing my whole lunch break waiting for my food to get cold. FYI - spring rolls that have sat in a bag for 30 mins are wet and soggy! If a person says the app told them their food is ready - the cashier should ask someone where it is. I’ve had dried up old food from there I could barely chew but the courtesy of the staff on those days was far superior to today and it was a bit of a trade off. But when the food and the staff are bad… Let’s just say, it will be a long while before we spend money...
