Starbucks — Restaurant in Roseburg

I am a DoorDash driver. I like to park outside of Starbucks in Roseburg because I like to do Starbucks deliveries. They have the type of clientele I like to deliver to.

I start delivering at 4:00AM every morning. Starbucks opens at 5:00AM. They are one of only 2 or 3 bathrooms open to a delivery driver prior to 6:00AM.

I am clean cut. Clean shaven. I dress nice. Have a nice newer SUV vehicle. They recognize me in Starbucks and know I do multiple pick ups and deliveries from their location 7 days a week.

This morning the manager decides to hassle me, and basically treat me like a homeless person who came in to wash up in their bathroom. I was in and out in 2 minutes.

I understand that the bathroom is technically for customers only. But anyone with any common sense understands the difference between the spirit of the rule as opposed to the letter of the rule

Starbucks and other businesses had to start implementing this bathroom rule because of the homeless epidemic. It is sad but because of the homeless epidemic it is a problem now to allow the general public to lock themselves into your nice bathroom that is now not available for your customers to use. Totally get that.

But it is 5:00am. I am not homeless. I look like a Starbucks customer. I am parked outside so that I can be 1st available to deliver for this location. I am in and out of the restroom in 3 minutes or less.

I do not use the restroom for the rest of the day. I only, occasionally use their bathroom between 5 and 6 am a few times a week. I am a coffee drinker. Do the math. DoorDashers need to use the restrooms of the places we deliver for.

So, knowing all of that, this anal retentive manager still felt she needed to confront me and hassle me in front of her staff because I came in to use the restroom when the restaurant was empty at 5:30 am. It was humiliating and embarrassing.

Please tell the owner and other managers of Starbucks if you have seen this review. I will post it on Facebook and other places as well because this was just the most ridiculous arrogant condescending person and I really hope this is not how Starbucks trains it's managers and wants them to be.

I know some DoorDashers look a little rough. I feel bad about that. But I try very hard to look professional and stand out as different from the norm in that respect.

A little respect from the store manager for which I am kind of a proxie employee and also a customer, (I do buy Starbucks coffees from time to time), would be nice and I don't think it is too...

Confusing place to get to and tight parking, but did not want to go through the drive-thru, which I realize now with SB, if you don't utilize it, you get looked down on, at least with my experience. It is rushed, pressured and uppity from the blonde girl who kept trying to get my order out of me with and really did not have the time, was so impatient, and could not be bothered today by my perceived lack of fastness...Though I was waiting for my SB app to load and had to hear a nice condescending comment from her suggesting, "it would help if you connected to out wifi. Which all SB's now have Google WiFI and it can be slow to sign in, as I have experienced in the past..Boy, it made it wish I had not walked in there. Though the older gentleman who finished up my order and told me my remaining balance was very pleasant and reminded me of what I have come to know about countless experiences at Starbucks in the past...I would not want to be him through, working under such a pretentious and pushy supervisor at that what I witnessed from the woman who initially took my order...I am not from the area, but I would not go back to this Starbucks...To top it off my drink was to sweet and runny and not how I remember how it was done right the last time I...

Associates are friendly but they can not make a drink if I went back everytime my drink tasted bad, it would be at least 50% of the time and all I drink is a cinnamon shaken espresso with no milk at all. I used to drink breves but they couldn't make those right either. It's like they don't put any flavor in it or if you say extra sweet its going to be too sweet to drink. They also constantly close earlier than it says so call first if it's after 5PM. The parking lot is one of the worst in douglas county. When I went to Idaho, the Starbucks drinks were AMAZING I couldn't believe how much better the starbucks are in other states. Even the store starbucks in roseburg like fred meyer and safeway make better drinks though. When I go to the Starbucks in safeway or Fred meyer the drinks always taste fine. And whoever is in charge of ordering and supply at this main garden valley location needs to order more they are constantly out of EVERYTHING I couldn't even go here for a year because they had no cinnamon dolce but the ones in fred meyer and safeway always did, so did the out of state starbucks. They're even out of mocha sometimes. Ran out of pumpkin and anything...
