Jin's Chop Suey — Restaurant in Roselle

Ok here’s my story I’ve been ordering from this place for years since it’s on my way back to home and the prices are ok,. Whenever you got older gentleman as a cook food is perfect, but when you got younger guy in the kitchen food is waaay to much salty ( too much msg). They fooled me once so every time I see younger one I order without msg, still salty but not as much but today was enough! Younger guy in the kitchen so I order food no msg even was put in writing on the order, pick it up, start to eat it and salt was burning my lips. Call them and said I’m bringing food back, they said ok we will make a new one for you, you can keep old one. I didn’t want the old / salty one so I did brought it back ( Kung pao beef extra meat and extra sauce). They give me regular size order with a little rice and they are claiming this is the same size container they are using for regular order and oversize order( not true) So after few years I got to say good bye the to them. Sorry. Oh and I waste my time driving back and forth in this Chicago winter...

Decided to try a different local Chinese restaurant for delivery, but was disappointed by this pick. I was told 45 minutes for delivery, had to call after waiting for an hour with no food, to which I was told the food was on the way. It was another 20 minutes before it got to me, the driver complained about "heavy traffic" in a spot where there usually is none. This place is just 5-10 mins away. BBQ pork with Cantonese noodles had very fatty meat, with more oily noodles than anything else. Pad Thai was flavorless and tasted nothing like Pad Thai. It had 2 different kinds of noodles, like they ran out of rice noodles and tossed something else in. Sweet & Sour chicken was decent. Egg rolls were unremarkable. I won't be ordering...

I have been ordering Chinese food here for over a few years now..however I cannot stand fast food places or restaurant are stingy with the sauce. I ordered a large shrimp fried rice and they gave me ONLY 2 soy sauce packet. Thank god I opened the bag in the restaurant I informed them I don't like soy sauce I want sweet and sour sauce. So she literally took them back in exchange for 5 sweet and sour sauce. I asked her for more as for it is a large!! She wanted me to pay 25 cents for 5 more I gave her 50 cents she gave me exactly 10!! I travel for work never had this issue with other Chinese food places. The food is good but be prepared to eat your food dry if you don't have extra coins...
