Gabby's Snow Cones — Restaurant in Rosenberg

Pros: Snow cones are fun, my kids loved adding gummy bears and there was a bunch of other stuff you could add too. Menu looked awesome, I wanted to try everything! They even have alcoholic drinks that I'll be back to try! The inside was small (no room to eat) but adequately and refreshingly air conditioned which is a huge plus for texas heat! The employee inside was friendly and timely. We got 3 small snow cones, 2 corn -in a-cups, and a cheetos locos (hot cheetos with pickle relish, Chile, and cucumbers -yum)!

Some cautions: not very "to go" friendly for kiddos. I asked for a to go lid or even to put the small sized snow cone in a bigger cup so my 7 year old and 3 year old could have a decent chance of it not spilling in the car... she said she couldn't give me a bigger cup without charging me for a bigger size... because "they count the cups". Good to know for next time. We didnt want to stay and eat bc 1. I was bringing things home for my husband to try, and 2. Its just too dang hot for us to sit outside on their patio and eat.

Parking/entrance is a little awkward because you can park in the back, but we accidentally went into the restaurant next door first bc we thought it was the snow cone entrance. The entrance is actually next to the drive thru window, which can be difficult for drivers to see people coming in when they are rounding the corner to get to the drive thru window.

Overall, food was great, there were some minor things but not a huge deal. Plus it's close to my house so...

Loved coming here the food is good . But this is my second time having a bad experience here. They really need to work on their customer services and retrain the staff. When I had went there it was empty hardly any customers there. They had told me that there was going to be a wait for corn in the cup that we had order. It was going to be a 15 min wait. I said it was fine. A bunch of cars started pulling up . The girl came back outside to ask me to park in the parking lot and didn’t come back after that. At the point we waited almost 30 minutes. I had to call them to just cancel my order. They came back to let me know that my order was ready that if I still wanted to cancel. Like really . I told her yes I still want to cancel and she said she was going to bring back my change never came back . I had to go up the front to see if someone else could help me. Instead one of the other girls told me that she would let the girl that attended me know and that I had to wait because they were in a middle of rush hr JUST to get my money back, and rudely shut the window. There were other customers there that told me that they also were waiting way too long . I understand food services is hard but this was ridiculous. I definitely won’t be...

Just left Gabby snow Cones. The attendee made us move to the 3rd row where 2 vehicles were already waiting. 2 cars pulled up behind us and moved into the 1& 2 spot. After she took the person order that pulled in before us, she went to the 1 lane and then the 2 land. Finally came over to us. My husband ask her if they normally go in order in which you drive up and she replied yes. He then on explained That the attendee made us move to the 3rd lane. And she took the other 2 vehicles orders before ours. There was no apology, she said “I don’t remember & ask if we still wanted to order” after I laughed for a few seconds I said no. I’m not wasting my time on service That does not matter. A simple apology might have saved a customer. We went to gabby’s frequently. This is our first time experiencing this. It will be our last. This really is poor customer service. Our drive here was about 20 minutes and it’s a waste. I have a 1stat but wanted to give a zero rating...
