Hi there.I love your coffee shop. I am drinking often. I am happy when they ask me for a tips, but 2 weeks ago. I did order a drink from this location. At that time, around 7pm or 8pm. A girl (Ā staff at the store) ask me for order from driving through and then didn't ask for a tips. My coffee is $6.25 for medium Gloden Eagle drinkĀ (After that, I got home and check my bank online I seen itsĀ $8.25 ) she gave a tips for her by herself through my paymentĀ that day. I think it's okay probably an accident. BUT, today me and my husband went to the Dutch Bros Coffee at this location : 8841 sheldon rd, elk Grove , ca 95624.
At 7:15Pm, we were driving through, and the girls working there said. We just accept apple pay, credits card only. ( Also, dutch Bros app not working because of the weather) we said that fine. And then, I ordered the same thing Medium Gloden Eagle she said it is $6.25 for it ( didn't ask for options a tip or not ) but when I got my drink and I told my husband why they didn't ask for tip. Usually , they asked for that options. I always happy to give a tip. I checked my bank online by the way and see pending $7.25 ( so she gave herself $1 for tip) Omg it happened 2 time with me . BUT, now they didn't ask and they did it by themselves from my payment. I am not happy when they did that. Please don't do it until ask the customers. Even, $1, $2,$3 for tips but remember that have to be give from the customers, DON'T DO IT BY YOURSELF FROM CUSTOMERS PAYMENT. I hope other guests are...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreArrived at drive-thru at 9:24 PM the night of 5/26 to a line of about 10 cars but the cheerful staff member helped me get my much needed order for what was supposed to be a hot almond milk latte (am lactose intolerant) with a shot of caramel flavor. Then everything went wrong: The line did not move for nearly 15 minutes, then with the help of another employee running drinks out the back door to various cars ahead, at 9:53 (yes... 29 minutes later) I finally got to the window for my drink.... it was an "Iced" drink instead of "hot", but appeared otherwise visually to be what I ordered and I wasn't going to wait any longer for a remake, so I stupidly accepted the drink. As I pulled away it tasted good but by the time I had drunk about 15% of it, I could tell it was not almond milk, but cows milk. I dumped it for health reasons. I will not waste my time at a Dutch Bros ever again. One small positive: the taste was of coffee instead of heavy sugar as other coffee places tend to do, but there was nothing in this experience to make this worth $7+ plus my valuable time. Am sorry I wasted my time and sorry I added a tip ahead of time for what turned out to be total incompetence or mismanagement...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI love Dutch Bros, but this location is not great, and I have been a few times to give them a chance. They often have their walk-up window closed and they were not taking orders outside due to heat-totally get that. We waited in line for 45 minutes. I was in line for about 20 minutes before cars started showing up in the lane next to me. They got through before me because they did the āzig-zagā system (customer initiated), which does not work when no one is outside monitoring who actually showed up first. One lane needs to be closed to avoid people cutting. There was a total of 6 cars who cut an entire line of people who had been waiting for a while. This is the only location that has issues with this. All other locations in the Sacramento area with double lines go to the cars who have arrived first, and customers do the same when no one is outside. Part of this is also just the crowd that this Dutch attracts. Employees were inside joking around and werenāt even friendly to anyone but each other. Iād reach out to customer service but it seems like a lot of people already have and no one has addressed it, so Iād suggest just visiting another...
