We have enjoyed this restaurant in the past, but we very disappointed today in the service and lack of customer service from the store's manager. I called in my order for Father's Day today and asked if I could prepay with my debit card over the phone. After some hesitation, she said yesterday and took my details. We pulled up in front of the restaurant (literally right outside their door!) and I called to ask if they could bring our (2) burritos out to our car. She said they were really busy (all the more reason for us to want curbside delivery given our age!), but would do it. After no one came for 10 mins., I called again. She said they were too busy and I would have to come in to get it. I said one of your people was just outside cleaning tables and how long would it take for her to grab the bag and take it out to us? Seriously, it would make them busier if they had to take our order inside and serve us, right?! Shortly after, a lady delivered it to us. We got home only to find that they gave us the wrong breakfast burritos (bacon vs. chorizo that we ordered)! My husband called to complain to the manager, but she was rude and unsympathetic - no apology or any understanding of the situation. My husband said he would post something online and she said go ahead and do what you want! Again, so unprofessional and rude! During this time, restaurants need to continue curbside service for those who want/need it. We will be taking our business to one of the many other Mexican restaurants in the area who are working hard to earn and keep it - during...
Read moreThe food here is pretty good, and of good quality. The young lady behind the counter wasn't very friendly, at all. She didn't smile once or welcome us in. At the time there were only two of us in our party, and no other patrons were there. She brought my plate to my table, but when food was ready for the person I was with (we could see the plate in the window), she was nowhere to be found. I was about to go up and ask for our other plate, when a very friendly young man saw it in the window and took the initiative to bring it to us. He then proceeded to ask if we needed anything else, to which our reply was "no, thank you". If the young lady who took our order at the counter was more like him, it would have been a better experience. The prices are pretty high, but a good overall experience would justify us coming back...which we won't. There are plenty of other places that have friendly people that I'd love to give my money to. If the prices were lower, they definitely would be a lot busier. Like I said, the food is really good. $20 for a Chili Relleno is on the pricey side (granted it comes with rice, beans, and tortillas on the...
Read moreOur first time at this restaurant and it was a great experience! The workers were very friendly, attentive and expeditious, but we were not rushed. After giving our order, we grabbed some freshly made tortilla chips and salsa. Chips and salsa were da-bomb! We ordered a 3 taco plate; 2 with shrimp and 1 with fish. OMG! They were made to perfection. The shrimp was cooked just right and not over cooked at all. I feared the fish may be breaded and made too crispy or hard. Alas, it was the opposite; the fish was perfectly grilled, flaky, moist and soft. My wife ordered 3 flautas; 1 of each with shredded chicken, pastor and steak. Except for the steak, the chicken and pastor was terrific. We did not get a steak because we got a 2nd pastor instead. Either the order was not made or the kitchen goofed. Unfortunately, I didn’t take the receipt to verify my order. My wife complained about too much lettuce on her plate. Too me, I like it because it is like a salad. Overall, I give the place 2 thumbs up and I will...
