06/26/25 Usually I have a great experience, everyone very polite , today was not that experience (specifically the tall individual workinf buy and sell ,the other employees polite and dope as always) I came in with an item for sale ,walked up to the buy and sell section ,even though him and the other worker saw me , they went back to there conversation and acted like I wasnt standing right there , not an acknowledgment, not a welcome in, not a "I'll be right with you " after afew moments I said hello how are you I'd like to sell these (he stopped what he was doing but in a tantrum sense replied with a sigh ) after him asking me the questions he has too ,but asked the rude mocking tone like when your mom would make you say sorry and you didnt mean it your just forced ...that kinda tone ) after signing , he tells me I will get a text when ready .... literally anytime I've come to sell they find out right there and taken care of in minutes....I waited 45 minutes.... MIND YOU IM THE ONLY ONE IN LINE SELLING , the store was damn near empty , it wasnt till I came back in i saw him look at me and say something under his breathe I said "did you say my stuff's ready ? his response "wait...huh no I havent even started yet that's when he started on my item " ..... after being offered a price extremely lowballed (I get it I'm not mad at that) I came back in very polite and said I would like my shoes back please , he tossed the box like it was trash on the counter "here " ,I still was polite and told him hope he was a good day and thank you....his response "mmmhm".....look we all have bad days but having a bad day has nothing to do with how you show manners and respect , basic customer service skills ... it's not like it was one sighing customers is no excuse especially when a customer is respectful and being polite ...and remains respectful and polite even while being talked too like a bum, I get it dude you have to stop what your working on to help the customer , gets irritating I get it.....but if you dont like your job and dont know how to be respectful to people then get a new job š¤·āāļø never had a bad experience here or treated that way till today ..... never comin back to the roseville location (edit) LOL SO THIS HAS BEEN A THING? šNUMEROUS PEOPLE SAME EXPERIENCE AND THE CAVE REPLYING BACK"WHICH LOCATION " ... WHEN ITS ALREADY THE CAVE ROSEVILLE AND PEOPLE SAYING THE EXACT ADDRESSšššš AT FIRST I WAS BEIN NICE SAYING ALL OF HAVE BEEN POLITE AND DOPE ....NAH THE ROSEVILLE LOCATION HAS ALWAYS BEEN UNENTHUSIASTIC RUDE ASSHOLES š ITS LIKE DIMPLE RECORDS....IF DIMPLE STARTED SMOKING METH š ... Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe absolute worst record store in the Roseville area. When they first opened they had some decent gems hidden amongst the rows of LPs in the back room, if you could find them. Lots of stuff put in the wrong section by genre, out of order alphabetically, and rows of albums are just a mess with nobody pushing the stack back after thumbing through and no employees seeming to care why it's bad form to leave them like that. No "recently added section", so you have to waste tons of time thumbing through loads of junk to maybe find a decent album or two. Some of their old stock is still priced "reasonably", but lately whoever has been pricing stuff is just looking up what the highest averages are going for on Discogs without even referencing the exact matrix runout or taking into account grading. For instance, I got scolded by this young employee who probably doesn't even own a turntable for opening and inspecting without explicit permission this "valuable" Led Zeppelin II album they keep in the corner of the front room by the registers (I had asked many times before if I could inspect the albums up there and it was never an issue). Anyways, this supposedly rare and valuable Led Zeppelin II original pressing did not have the RL SS matrix runout and I would conservatively grade it at high Fair to low Good. I would not pay $20 dollars for that crappy post Robert Ludwig pressing scratched to all hell, but they got it in their minds that it's worth nearly $200 dollars. Yeah, good luck with that buddy. I've seen other incorrectly identified albums in their "good section" as well and I feel bad for anyone who doesn't know how to look up the actual pressings that shops there. Buyer beware for sure. If you are serious about vinyl do yourself a favor and go to local shop owned by people that actually listen to albums and are...

By the time I get home, got a text for $125šš They tried to tell me it was the Travel bag thatās $250 online, so I told him on the phone heās wrong and Iāll be in shortly. Arrive and ask someone behind the counter to talk to them about it, and they tell me that kid just went on lunch, and he explained they go on eBay for pricing. So I show him the difference and the difference on both listing on EBay and his actual response is āsometimes we donāt get it rightā and shrugsšš I wonder how many other people they have ripped out or fraudulently tried to say that they have a different item. If you donāt know what youāre looking at, ask a question, itās really not that hard. Then to no try to resolve the issue just shows a business with an owner who does not properly train employees, just hires kids and says good luck. STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED...
