To Management/Owner,
I brought in a U.S.M.C., rare ceramic collectible for engraving services. I submitted a detailed description of what I wanted on my piece. Approximately, two hours later I received a phone call from the Owner stating a mistake was made regarding the inscription. I returned to the business and was very upset.š” This is a rare piece purchased as a gift for a fellow United States Marine, and was expedited for shipping. The owner accepted full responsibility for the mistake, and promised to repair my collectible through a second/third party source. I traveled back to my home and retrieved my identical U.S.M.C. rare ceramic collectible, and provided the part that was damaged from the original one I dropped off for engraving. That's how much I was dedicated to retain our business connection, and still be able to give the gift to a lifetime Marine Corps friend. The personal mug I brought from home also had an error on the lid!!! I wasn't charged for re-engraving the second lid, which was also engraved incorrectly!!! One, the wording was off-centered, unlike a previous lid I brought in for a previous service (No Issues), and the word Birthday was a lower case "b" (I requested a capital "B". I was furious about this, but didn't have the patience or time to discuss it at the time. I am still very upset because I made it very clear how important the piece was, and I feel more than one set of eyes should have reviewed my wording and centering. I am looking at a personal mug with no lid that I paid extra shipping for to receive in a timely manner, only to have two lids not meeting my expectation. It has been ten days with no apology, callback, explanation, or even reimbursement for my item. I have called the business, and left my contact information for two consecutive days. At this point it's obvious; Management/Ownership don't take care of their customers, and have no intention on addressing and rectifying serious issues when they provide a poor service to the community. After reading similar reviews, it's very sad they are still in business. Please think carefully before obtaining their services. I won't ever again!!! Updated 15 Aug...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is the worst, and I would give them a 0 if I could. I bought my mom a watch for Motherās Day, and it was brand new; it was sealed, and there was a clip on the crown to ensure the battery would not die before use. After she opened the gift, I took the clip off and set the time to 1:05 pm. It worked perfectly. The watch was too big around her wrist, and around 4:30 pm we left the watch at Fast-Fix to get adjusted. We were told it would take 20 minutes, but ultimately it took about an hour, and costed $20, to get two links taken off (our receipt shows that we picked up the watch at 5:26 pm). Around 7 pm we noticed that the watch was not working, and when we looked at it, the time was stuck at 5:15 pm (reminder that we were not in possession of the watch at that time). When I looked at the back of the watch, there was a scratch right where the battery opening is located, and we were almost certain they touched the battery. At this point the store was closed, so the next day we called to tell them about our issue. We were told that the owner, John, would call us back, and he never did. My mom ended up going back to the store that same day she called to state the issue again and was told that they would never do that, that they donāt have time to do that because theyāre so busy. They said that the battery was probably dead from sitting too long, and they would give her a discount to replace the battery. She declined and took it to two other jewelers; the first said they did not have the tools at the moment to open the back and check, but they said they could tell it was tampered with. The second jeweler also stated that it was tampered with, and he opened it right in front of my mom. There was NO BATTERY in the watch, and he said he was āsickenedā by this. According to the employees she spoke with at Fast-Fix Jewelry, they said that John, the owner, worked on our watch. Iām disgusted with this place, especially with the fact that the owner himself did this on...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAvoid at all costs! I made the big mistake of thinking that this mall store could handle a simple job like a battery replacement. I went into the store on a Tuesday evening and asked them to replace the battery. The battery replacement was about $30 (kind of pricey for a battery?). The girl said they would text me when it was done. 30 minutes later and no text so I go back to the store and a guy said my watch was ready. Turns out the girl had left and they forgot to text me. However, when he returned the watch to me the glass and front bezel were completely scratched up and chipped. Prior to dropping off my watch, the front glass was in mint condition. Unfortunately, I did not have a ābeforeā photo because I had no idea a battery replacement could go so wrong. They also told me that the watch was missing the water seal and to be careful not to splash water on it. I asked if one could be put in but the guy said the watchmaker was not there (Does that mean an unqualified person worked on my watch?). I left and did not make a fuss but shortly after I received an automated survey text regarding the service. It said that I could directly text them about the issue. After sending the photo and a message about the damage, they did not respond and went cold. Please avoid this place at all cost and go to a...
