Makwa Coffee — Restaurant in Roseville

We rented Makwa outside of their normal business hours for a private event to celebrate our daughter’s high school graduation. Having moved out of state her sophomore year, this was the perfect venue to gather together with our TC family and friends. Makwa provided the beverages and we brought in decorations, and sweet & savory treats. So many guests asked how we found out about this most perfect venue. Great local coffee shop! Their cold brew is strong, and the fall seasonal drinks (Honey Bear and Basic Bee) are perfect when I want something sweeter and less caffeinated. I like that they have outside seating and that they have treats made by local bakers. It's a comfortable space whether you are working, reading a book, or catching up with a friend. Internet connection was good even when a handful of other people were also on their computers. I’ve stopped by this place a number of times in the morning on remote work days before the library opens. I have nothing but good things to say about the beverages, food, and service I have received there (try the raspberry chocolate pop tart if you have a chance). Makwa’s commitment to good values and place as a community space cannot be understated (I always hear conversations from people getting involved in their communities in one way or another when I am in there- sometimes that gives me some hope in my day when I need it).
