Original Malt Shop — Restaurant in Roseville

Had a terrible experience ordering food from The Malt Shop tonight. We ordered via GrubHub. The fries were nothing special at all, honestly it was difficult to eat more than just two. My daughter's kid's meal was the most unfortunate part - she ordered the grilled cheese (which is only half a sandwich). It did not come with the side of fruit we ordered and it also did not come with the milk that we ordered. This means we spent $5 on a single piece of white bread with half melted American cheese singles inside. I was unimpressed... as was my daughter. My son ordered the mac and cheese kid's meal. Fortunately his arrived with fruit but his milk was missing as well. His mac and cheese was quite clearly the basic Kraft stuff out of a box. I should have saved $5 and made a box of the organic (and much yummier) stuff we have in the pantry.. oops. The vegi burger and cheeseburger we ordered were.. edible. Yay? Steer very clear of this place, especially if you're ordering delivery and can't check what you're getting before you get it. This was a waste of money and a disappointing meal despite our excitement for a night of eating delivery.. we will certainly never return. In conclusion: We spent $5 on a single piece of white bread with two pieces of half melted plastic-esque American cheese inside....

Food was very good (Philly cheese steak w/fries), milkshakes were literally the BEST I've ever had in my life. Sandwich & fries were really good too. I'll definitely be eating here again & again. However, I had requested ketchup, ranch, salt/pepper, & napkins (because I'm traveling on business); they gave me 1 single packet of ketchup (& like 10 yellow mustard packets?!), zero ranch, zero s&p, & zero napkins. :'( wish they'd read my order notes; they did read & oblige to my note of sub cheddar instead of Swiss, so that was nice. (Update ordered again after this review was posted & they seem to have remedied the condiment issue. Next 2 orders I made included all condiments & utensils)

Overall, 4 stars for food & ESPECIALLY the milkshakes! Took a star off for lack of attention to requests. When you're traveling & don't have any ketchup, napkins, or s&p - it kinda stinks.

Highly recommend their milkshakes, especially the chocolate+banana malt (they use fresh, ripe bananas blended in) & their standard vanilla malt shake. DELICIOUS, no joke the best I've ever had, hands down (& I'm a nightly milkshake...

Disappointed! We enjoy dining at the Snuffy's restaurants around the Twin Cities. Today, we visited the Roseville location. I showed the waiter our coupon when we ordered and he informed me that it was for the other locations...I then said that I'd check on line and find one for the Roseville location. He never said anything until he came back and I said I was unable to find a coupon for their location and that is when he informed me that there wasn't a coupon and they weren't affiliated with one another. Would have been nice to know this before I spent time searching for a coupon. Then, my son asked for honey mustard. Much to our surprise there was a $.45 charge on our bill for honey mustard. We were given about a table spoon of honey mustard...seriously $.45. Would have been nice to know that there is a charge for this and we would not have opted of it. Most restaurants do not charge for a condiment such as this. A little communication with your customers might be a good idea. We will not be going back to this location! VERY...
