Ram's Horn Restaurant — Restaurant in Roseville

My family and I have been to this location a few times. Usually the food is good, however the cleanliness of this restaurant is not the greatest, and we have always had the same waitress every time we have been here. She seems like she is always strung out on something, and hovers around the table almost the whole time we are there. Tonight will more than likely be our last time eating out at this location. As my family and I were leaving, the manager and another employee were smoking right outside the main doors. We had to walk through the cloud of smoke with our 5 month old and 7 year old. We are not smokers, so it was very unpleasant to smell that after eating dinner. As my husband was loading our baby in the car seat, our waitress came flying out the door accusing us of not paying our bill. Thank God she approached my husband, and not me because I would not have been as nice as he was. As much as she hovered around us, I would have figured she saw me walk up to the register, and pay with my debit card. It took everything in me not to walk back in the restaurant, and have them reimburse my debit card the 35% tip that we gave. I was a waitress for 13 years, and never once chased down a customer outside, and accuse them of not paying their bill. Her actions were very rude, unprofessional, and extremely embarrassing! I have never in my life walked out on a bill, and always give a generous tip because I know what it is like to be a waitress. I just really hope another customer is not treated the way we were...

UPDATE: The manager asked that we return and give them another chance. I am so glad we did, it was great! The food was hot and tasted great this time. The service staff was nice this time around as well! Thank you for the opportunity to return to my once favorite breakfast spot.

Rams Horn used to be such a great place for breakfast, that has changed. I like to give the benefit of the doubt so I reserved my review until I had 3 seperate visits to compare. Each visit was more disappointing then the last. There were a total of 5 customers (3 seperate tables) and 2 servers. All of our food was cold. We ordered 2 Paul Bunyon specials. All the meat was cold yet the toast was burnt. I was able to pick up the cheesy eggs (sliced barely melted across top) with my thumb and index finger to put in doggie bag, it was rock solid. Upon paying $25.33 for this experience, I was asked " how was everything" I said it was cold and horrible. She laughed and told me to...

After my last visit 3 months ago I decided to give them another shot, big mistake, HUGE mistake! The eggs for my sister's and I's omelettes were over cooked. The waitress on BOTH occasions brings the food, and then not even 5 mins later sets the bill on the table(without saying a word), never came back. As I told the manager "if I wanted to be rushed, I would've went to McDonald's." He proceeds to tell me "she is one of our best waitresses" WOW REALLY?!? Will NEVER patronize this location again! And for the waitress that asked the waitress that asked her to ask the manager to come out asking "whats this about" As I said "a customer complaint" and as you walked away with your "Wow" ... When a customer asks for a manager and another employee asks you to get them, 1) Dont question your co-worker, obviously they already know its a manager situation. 2) Your wow was ALMOST shoved back...
