61st Broadway Merrillville. IN. This is THE WORST & SLOWEST & DIRTIEST! CHEAPEST McDonald's in the state if not the country! I don't know who the PROPRIETORS or OWNERS are if any, but they are some cheap people! They don't ever have any condiments for the order, sauces are never available for the foods they go with, other than ketchup maybe. They wanna charge for any more than one if they do have it no matter the size and the service is the worst . You can sit in the drive through for 20 30 minutes and get to the window only to watch the people in front of you holding up the line because they want a refund for the food. No no don't pull out the way to handle there problems without screwing up everyone else's day behind them. That would be to much like a normal drive through issue. Instead we will park here and argue Not once but 5 out of 10 times this can be seen happening here. Or the police are called because they don't want to give somebody a refund and argue over an order at the window. Who or what kind of business does that? Well here's one! The later hours you would be getting service by 1 or maybe 2 people working inside. Its ridiculous! Why would you have 1 or 2 people working in a fast food place you can barely handle running as it is. I don't know. What I do know is my daughter had to go to the E.R. from eating here they are filthy and under cooked her food or used expired food that should have been tossed out. Or just filthy people who don't have any clue on what clean hands are, to get her that sic. Not sure which of those did it couldn't really investigate it or go back while sitting in the hospital waiting for her to be seen. So anyways do yourself a favor and don't chance it. Go down the road to another one. Or elsewhere. I Promise you WILL BE thankful you didn't. And No, I don't ever go here anymore. Have maybe 10 times in 2 years and seen the exact same service.    Read moreI went to this McDonaldâs. All I ordered was two McChickens. It took more than 5 in for them to make it. I was the only one in line, but I understand this late they were probably cleaning grill section for closing so Iâll give them that. However, ik those thin, hard , warm~more on the cold side, McChickens were in the cabinet for over 30 min. Iâd say a bout a little over an hour. Itâs my fault I didnât ask for it cook to order . I didnât think of it till I had already said âthatâs allâ and I didnât wanna be a karen about anything. But I mean dang man. That was a let down.I used to be a production manager at McDonaldâs and did all the front counter and drive thru stuff a little over a year ago...thatâs the only reason why I felt some type of way about it . They need to retrain their crew members on grill section. Man, I didnât even get my rescript nor did they even ask if I wanted it. Literally though, atleast let the food be edible. They probably took the McChickens and sat them in a 10pc nugget box and then put it in the cabinet and didnât even turn the timer on. Cuz thatâs how bad that stuff was. I would say they probably pre-toasted the buns too, but I wonât go that far. If I could give this 0 stars I would because that was unacceptable. After waiting at the speaker for 5 mins with only one other car there at the same time I was greeted and when informed I had a mobile order she tried saying I needed to come inside. Iâve done mobile pickups at other stores so I knew that wasnât the case, so I pulled around to the window and waited about 10mins for 2 cars in front of me to be served. I finally get to the window and I tell the guy I have a mobile order and tell him what it is. It seemed like he was really confused and started talking to the manager with the window open talking loudly over the music they were blasting. After a minute or so the manager is just like nah we canât do mobile orders now you gotta go to a different McDonaldâs. At that point I just pulled away. As I was pulling out of the parking lot I got the notification that the money for that order was withdrawn from my bank account. So I went back through and I get the response oh yea itâs working but it wasnât earlier. They then again proceed to ask me what I had and I wanted the new bbq spicy chicken and 2 bacon McDoubles. They tried arguing that they donât have the spicy McChicken and I had to explain thatâs not what I wanted that I wanted the new spicy bbq chicken sandwich. Finally they understood and 6 mins later I got my food after hearing them talk about how they donât properly clean some of the machines. The spicy bbq was drenched in sauce which was sloppy in the box and nothing was warm.
