I used to work here and I HATED IT! I worked my butt off just to be treated like dirt. On my first day I wasn't even recognized, I was just told to sweep and usually the new employees get shown around the building and get shown a video. But not me! I was not trained on Front Counter until an hour later. There was even this other 15 year old girl working here when I started and she quit one month after I got hired because she was getting mistreated. I only worked weekends until summer break and that's when Hell broke loose. I was always given nasty attitudes by my coworkers and managers and the managers don't know how to do their jobs and don't take proper action when employees misbehave. Some of my Co Workers would give me the middle finger, yell at me and snitch on me. One time this guy shoved me out of the way in front of one of the Managers and he did NOTHING! Managers sometimes send people they don't like home often. Some of my coworkers were nice. But most of them hated me. I was very frequently sent home either because labor was high or because it was slow, but sometimes they would send me home because the managers hated me and didn't want me there. All the managers hated me! There was even this one manager that got fired for clocking in somebody 5 minutes early! But yet the managers think it's a good idea to leave a drawer with $90 in the reach of customers. I was constantly told I would be trained on other stuff, but these 2 managers would make up some random excuse because I was 15 and there were clearly other things I could LEGALLY DO. They trained me on Grill for a while but the guy training me kept giving attitude and cursing at me every time I did something wrong, and then they stopped training me because I forgot to clean the grill and they never showed me how. One time I was caught in the Walk-In Fridge and got yelled at, sent home and written up, because if your're 15 you can't go in there and I didn’t know that. I was only trained on 3 things! Yes 3! I would constantly be thrown on table service to clean tables for hours because the manger that put me there hated me, and even one time a customer told on me because the napkins I gave her were wet and I got sent home, when I clearly didn't get them wet. One day I was thrown outside to sweep and clean garbage. The Temperature that day was 104 Degrees and I came inside sweating badly and went to get fresh air and water and they got mad at me and told me to go back outside? Apparently they wanted me to die of heat stroke. After I was done working outside for 1 hour and 15 minutes, I was sent home! I'm pretty sure I made less than $10 that day, I can't even fill my damn gas tank with that! I also didn't get many hours, one week I got 33 hours and the other week I got 8, and they told me they were overstaffed but yet they are hiring more people. I just assumed they didn't want me there anymore because other employees were getting a lot of hours and I was the only one with a few hours. There was even this one person being trained to be a manager and she and this other manager tried to get me fired by accusing me of stealing $5 from my drawer! Thankfully another manager found it somewhere where they most likely hid it. One time 2 girls told me they overheard the department manager saying she regretted hiring me, like who does that? One day I was sent home 5 hours early and was at the verge of quitting, so I called the owner and she said she would take care of it and when my general manager called me she was MAD because I called the owner and not her. I decided to quit and move to another McDonald's. I have also seen employees make fun of customers and treat them like dirt as well. A manager even got mad at me because I thanked a Vietnam Veteran for his service. SERIOUSLY? I even caught a manager making food without gloves on! Don't work here please. The employees are at war with each other. I hope the owners do something because this place is...
Read moreI've been to this particular McDonald's three times recently and although the workers treated respectfully, the experience was unacceptable. First time: waited in the drive through for at least 7 minutes before anyone even spoke to me. Only 1 vehicle was ahead of me, but I sat at the drive through menu board for that long. Took about as long again before I received my order. Reason was that only 2 employees were there that night. Second time: mobile ordered and paid through the mobile app for some chicken tenders. Got to the McDonald's and they informed me that they were out of tenders. They took about 5 minutes to cancel my order. I instead bought a McDouble. I pointed out to the manager that the app gave me no indication that the item I had ordered was not available, the drive-thru menu gave me no indication that the strips are not available, and even as I in my car outside the drive-thru window waiting for my McDouble, their LED sign by the road proudly advertised the chicken tenders. Third try: I went again in hopes that they would have some tenders tonight (this is the only McDonald's on my route). BTW, I had to uninstall and redownload my whole McDonald's app, because the mobile order from that second visit was not properly removed. So I got there and waited in the Drive-Thru, and asked if they have tenders, and I got the exact answer that I was expecting, which was "sorry, no." Once again no sign or indication anywhere in the Drive-Thru that they were out of this item. I thanked them and left without ordering anything. In all of these experiences, most other fast food restaurant would have offered me free food for the extra wait and trouble. I am pleased that the employees were somewhat polite, but annoyed that the company and/or franchise seems to be perfectly satisfied with their ignorant way of operating. I would not recommend anyone to patronize or work at this McDonald's in the near future unless they get some better management. There ARE other area McDonald's that I still frequent and where I am treated as a valued guest, and I'll be leaving positive surveys for those ones. For me, this McDonald's has lost their credibility, because when I go there, I'm seldom...
Read moretrouble with app. jumping fries instead of a coupon.. problem applying deal to mob. ordering.. stupid coffee menu, when you use coffee related coupons , without any sense in items order, no pics of coffees, of 400+ combinations! But when buying coffee regularly from the menu without deals it is easy. Took half an hour to make all work and at the end-no cash option! Luckily I saved the card.. which I usually don't do in app! Finally when we gave curbside number.. kind worker came out to say, store is out of 2 items!!??! She Apologized, but it wasn't her fault!! It's company's fault! Where is the option in the app to say what is available??!! This way burden just goes to already busy and hard working staff.. and customers! That is very bad business! I don't wanna do your company's business as a paying customer. Also no options for salt and pepper, straws, additional sugar and stuff!! Poor girl had to come to our car at least 3 times in cold weather! ! First to say store is out of those items, and ask if we want a refund. Second time, to bring the rest of the food and a refund.. Third time to bring us straws which we asked for !! Great service from her side, but shame on company which promotes the bad app, plus not interconnected with way the things are going on a day to day business in restaurants! 4 stars are for the place and nice people working there only! my favorite McD...
