Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Ross Township

Preordered a heartshaped pizza Feb 13 to be delivered to husbands job 1230 on Feb 14 ( valentine's day). Received a call at 1230 am from a delivery driver asking where to deliver the pizza...explained it was 12:30 p.m. lunchtime on Valentine's Day. Received another call from the general manager of the store at 9:30 a.m. on Valentine's Day apologizing for the mistake he had made entering the order was guaranteed that the heart-shaped order would be at my husband's job by 12:30 as my husband awaited the order through his lunch hour it did not arrive I called the store at 1:15 p.m. when I found out this information and was told that it would have been there shortly I called again at 2:15 as it still had it been delivered for him to tell me that he cancelled it because their previous call I told him I'd call him back after I get off of work to discuss what he could do for me because he offered to do something to make up for the time delay and all the mistakes throughout the order. I this general manager was extremely rude arrogant and does not know how to treat customers I am very disappointed that this is what Papa John's has become because I've been ordering there for a very long time and I will...

I ordered a pizza and a 2-liter, but only the pizza arrived. Cool, whatever, accidents happen. It would have taken the delivery driver 30 minutes+ to be back with the drink, and I didn't want to waste his time like that, so when he offered to give a credit, I said "sure."

Twenty minutes later, I get a call from the store where an extremely rude woman said that they will not do a credit for a $4 two liter of soda, nor would they send anyone out with the thing because "I already checked out your driver, so you gotta show up by the end of tonight."

I was livid. I ordered delivery because I couldn't be bothered to drive out for lazy food, and the associates at the store failed to check the order before they sent it out.

And then she started talking like I was the idiot because I didn't immediately call them when the driver, who I spoke to, offered to get it credited.

If, at the very least, she was polite about telling me to get bent I wouldn't be writing this because that's corporate america, and that's what you can expect. But she wasn't. So good riddance.

Never ordering from this...

On Monday night at approximately 10:00 p.m. I called the Papa John's in Merrillville to order some pizzas the lady that took my order said the pizzas were still early enough to order and they would be delivered in 50 to 55 minutes I never got my pizzas and by the time the delivery time came the store was closed I was unable to call anybody I had seven friends over for dinner and none of us was able to eat any pizza because Papa John's never delivered my pizzas I called to complain about it and the manager that answered the phone says I need to speak to the general manager and I have to call back tomorrow during business hours this is not the right way to run a business especially a customer service business of a restaurant selling pizzas I will never order from this...
