New neighborhood restaurant so we wanted to try it. They had been open about 5-6 weeks so I was hoping the kinks had been worked out. The ambiance is good...a brewery type atmosphere with brew tanks in the back where I think they will take you in for a small tour. The restaurant is smallish and in a rectangular shape. It is also very loud but I imagine that is the atmosphere they are going for. The good: our waitress was VERY friendly, very informative, and very attentive...we loved her (we think her name was Jordan)! The bad: The food portions were small for what you pay and was not delicious by any stretch...my chicken was overdone, the korean BBQ tacos were not very tasty and not much meat, and our pretzel starter was also not enough pretzels for 7 bucks...I mean, they are pretzels! They cost very little and you could add a few more very easily for the price. We try to avoid the restaurants that think, "Hey, let's be trendy...make our food and drink portions tiny and then charge more for it!" This is East Roswell, not Midtown. The drinks were also not pints, but charged like pints (Owners, a pint is 16 oz, not 13...come on!). We will give them another chance in a few weeks and see if they have changed anything as they are obviously still working out the kinks, but at this point they still aren't there. We would give our waitress 10 stars, but the restaurant is 3.5...
Read moreUpdating to 4 stars based on my second visit- still pretty expensive for what you get but our second visit we tried some other dishes and the food was really solid. Got the fried chicken and the lentils were perfectly cooked and the from the earth plate with vegetables and sauces was really fresh and delicious.
Decent food, cool atmosphere and plenty of seating. I would like to come see a concert here at some point and I’m sure we will be back since it is so close to our new home but I do have some small complaints.
We got the pimento cheese fritters and they were delicious but still a little bit cold on the inside - this didn’t stop my partner from devouring them before I could even tell the server so they must have been good!
The Italian grinder I got was a very good sandwich and the chopped salad on top was great but for the price I probably wouldn’t order it again. It was comparable to a sandwich you could get at most decent sandwich shops for about half the price.
My partner got the salad and added shrimp and it was a very good salad but again for the price for portion not sure I would order it again.
Overall a good experience I just found the food a bit bland/lacking for the price point. The service and restaurant atmosphere were great and the sour beer I got...
Read moreI just moved to the neighborhood about a week ago, and was super excited to see that a new brewpub was opening right down the road from me! I didn't realize they were open yet, but as I was driving through the parking lot this evening originally planning on stopping at Taqueria Tsunami, I noticed people inside so sporadically decided to stop in for dinner/beer instead. The menu was excellent and I found it hard to make a decision (We ended up with appetizers, entrees, dessert, and lots of leftovers!) The quality of the food was outstanding, and the portions were very generous. We ordered a flight so that we could try all of the in-house beers (also all excellent!) Our server, Angelo, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and stayed on top of everything! He even went out of his way to show us around the restaurant/brew area after we finished our meal and tell us a little more about the place. Top notch customer service and food, and from what I understand they are still in a "soft opening", so I can't wait to go back soon after their Grand Opening and feel out the environment/explore their menu even more! Angelo also showed us a cool outdoor seating area/fire pit that is going to be open and perfect for the upcoming...
