The Kaya Signature Ramen was excellent, the broth is nice and creamy as a pork tonkotsu should be. The spicy hot oil also adds a delicious layer of flavor. The chasu slices were meaty and tender. I think the egg is the weak point in the dish. If the yolk was gooey the ramen would be A++.

The karaage consists of large meaty chunks of crispy chicken. They were tender and juicy, a result of using chicken thighs rather than breast meat. The sauce that comes with it isn't the traditional Japanese mayonnaise with shichimi powder, but a tangy dressing. The tangy dressing is a good contrast for fried food but I prefer the Japanese mayo instead. Either way, pairing the crispy karaage with any bowl of ramen is a must.

Pok Pok chicken ramen has a creamy chicken broth and is a good alternative for those who prefer a less rich alternative to tonkotsu broth. The slices of chicken are large, tender, and have a good flavor. The corn is also a welcome addition that breaks up the savory broth with occasional bursts of sweetness. Again, the egg is the weak point.

The Kaya and Natsu sushi rolls are both delicious. The fish is of good quality and there isn't an overabundance of rice. The rolls themselves are filling and would be a meal on their own.

The Tan Tan ramen is a "dry" variant of a Chinese style ramen. Rather than broth the Tan Tan ramen uses a mixture of protein and vegetables along with Chinese hot oil as the "broth". It is similar to the Korean Bibimbap but has its own spicy spin and flavor. It's great for a hot summer day rather than sweating over a hot bowl of broth in the same...

This place is a true gem. My husband and I absolutely LOVE sushi which was originally what drew us here, however we decided to venture out and get some ramen as well. We’ve been to numerous ramen places & this is by far the best we’ve had, the meat melts in your mouth, the seasonings are just right and the portions are substantial for a fair price. The sushi is equally amazing, we usually get a special roll to share & the sauces and toppings are DELICIOUS. Beyond the food, the staff is so kind and attentive & the service is top notch. On one of our visits, my husbands ramen did not taste the way it usually did (I tried it too and it really was a significant difference). He explained this to the waitress and asked if he could just have a little more seasoning, she insisted on having a fresh batch of ramen made which was the usual level of amazing! She then explained they had hired a new chef who was still training and said they really appreciated the feedback because they want to work out any kinks in the service & even gave us a discount for the “hassle” even though we didn’t even ask. TOP NOTCH customer service - these people are clearly passionate about the service and quality they provide. We will be...

We have been to Kaya 3 times to dine in, and 1 time for takeout. Every time has been awesome. The employees are very nice and the location is so unique and cute inside! Our family loves ramen and this is our favorite place. I get the Classic Tonkotsu ramen with an extra egg and extra black garlic oil. My husband gets the Kaya Signature or Naruto ramen. We recommend ordering the chili bomb sauce if you like spicy. They serve it on the side. It tastes like it was made with habanero or scotch bonnet peppers, so it's very flavorful. I also love that the eggs at Kaya are perfectly soft boiled and a little runny. The sushi is good, but I wish there were more options without deep frying. I also recommend the appetizers, which have always been good as well! We have tried the lollipop shrimp, takoyaki, chashu bun, and chicken karaage. The shrimp are a good size and always cooked perfectly. I have found myself often wanting the comfort food at Kaya with some hot green tea (now that the weather is getting colder!) Please thumbs up my review of it was helpful to you, and I hope you will support this...

If you are looking for a Japanese food spot with great service, aesthetics, and affordable prices this is the spot. Have been multiple times and haven’t been disappointed. I have ordered something different each time and so far it’s all hits and no misses. The ramen is delicious and perfectly spiced, the shrimp Tempura has that crunch sound you see people on Instagram making videos about, and genuinely one of the best Miso Soups I’ve ever had. I know what you’re thinking, “it’s just a miso soup, they all taste alike” and I’m telling you this one is better than any you’ve had. Top it off with attentive service and tables that are actually large enough to hold the food you order without having to worry about space and this place is a home run. Also, the inside of the restaurant makes it seem like you're in a traditional Japanese wooden restaurant serving street food, which is an awesome vibe. 10/10. Would recommend to anyone in the area.
