I left a review prior to this and I want/need to clear up what I said. I initially started this process with Ashley who is very pleasant after meeting her in person on Saturday 8/10/24. I started this whole process online due to me seeing furniture I wanted. This was 3 weeks ago. I am not sure where the miscommunication came from but when Ashley told me that my selection wasn't available, she went above and beyond and sent me pictures of the furniture that was available in store on site. I selected the couch I wanted from the pictures that were sent and the process went well. I was told by Ashley that my couch would be delivered the following the Tuesday and nothing came. I call the store and Sandra picks up the phone and I ask about the delivery and she knows nothing of a delivery for me { the miscommunication}. So, after speaking with Sandra, I then spoke to Ashley and changed my delivery date to Wednesday. Wednesday came and no couch due to no one being available to drive for delivery. Then Thursday comes and I am contacted by Trevor who's very pleasant and he tried to deliver the couch but didn't have help and didn't believe the couch wouldn't fit in the door. Trevor then also sends me pictures of what's available and I pick the bluish/dark grey couch and I text him and say I'll settle for that one at this point. But of course with him being the only driver he gets busy and I contact the store and Sandra picks up the phone. She goes on about that couch has already been rented out prior and it doesn't look new at all. So now, back to square one. At this point I am frustrated and just need a couch. So Friday comes still no couch, I call and speak with Sandra and I tell her if I cant get anything delivered by Saturday I would like a refund to try something else because at this point it's taking way too long for this process. She then says that she and Trevor will drive to deliver the couch Saturday morning. Saturday morning comes around and no phone call, no nothing. So I call the store and Ashley is there and she didn't know anything about what was going on because the manager didn't communicate the atmosphere of what's going on. I get it, I work in high volume business and sometimes mistakes are made. So then I drive to the store to look at the couch and I see that it will fit in my apartment against the wall. Now, the only reason I wanted the couch delivered is because Trevor told me that if he had help he could get the couch in there, so I believed it would work, but it didn't. As they were leaving Saturday I asked Sandra if I could transfer what I already paid and she yes, it would have to be of the same value. So I took it upon myself to call these other stores to see if the couch I initially wanted was available and it was. So I called Ashley to let her know that the couch was available and it is now Monday 8/12/24 and Sandra issued a refund instead of speaking with me first to see how we could resolve this ongoing process. Of course I called back and Ashley answered and stated that Sandra is in a meeting and she will call back afterwards.
There was a lot of miscommunication and if the manager can't get on one accord with everyone and work on her customer service skills this would of went smoother. Read moreThis is hands down the WORST customer service experience I have ever had. I tried to order my sectional online and the website kept freezing so I called the store. I was walked through placing my order..was assured that my item would arrive on a certain date as this was the ONLY reason I made the purchase.
Heard nothing from them and had to call the day before the set delivery date and then informed that the piece was damaged and they ordered a new part. Nobody even thought to call me and let me know. When I pushed for why I wasn't called the manager told me technically it is a special order and they have up to 6 weeks to deliver. Are you kidding?! A simple phone call is all that was needed.
THEN when they finally put me on the delivery schedule they tell me between 11-5:00pm...I called the store at 4:00 because I still hadn't heard anything and was told I will check with the driver and call you back. I let them know that I had to leave at 6:00pm and they assured me it would be soon....an hour goes by and no phone call. I call AGAIN and I am told that they won't be here until 5:45pm now! HORRIBLE...
Read moreI give up… no longer want anything from RAC. I shopped online, chose what I wanted. Next thing I know, experience goes down the toilet. Poor communication. RAC said they would send me pics of what they had available since the item I chose was at another store and missing a piece. Waited a whole day and since RAC didn’t send me anything, I went online and chose another item to my liking only to receive the following txt msg “ Hello this is Sandra again can you please stop typing ypourself up online. That second living room you got is no good that is why your 6 month same as cash is so low. Thank you.” First time someone tells me to stop shopping on their website. Felt insulted.
