It had been many years since our last visit to this Flying Biscuit location. We remember it used to be so busy and always full. We went on a Saturday early morning (7am-ish). The only hostess/server there let us pick our own seat. Including us there were only two tables occupied. Not sure if it was because it was still early in the morning or the COVID situation hasn’t improved to bring the volume of customers back to the pre-pandemic level. Our drink and food orders were taken quickly. The drinks were served right away. But it took over 15 minutes for the food to be served. It wasn’t a very busy time; we saw one other pick-up order being prepared during the same time, maybe that was why our food took that long to be served. Food tasted as good as what we remembered! A couple minor areas that we hope to see improvements: No butter was offered by default with the biscuit. Although the applesauce was offered, we wished they would just have a small bowl of butter chips on the table. Sticky honey bottle. The bottle was almost empty and the lid and the bottle were preeeety sticky. They should be cleaned nightly to provide a better customer experience. The Canadian bacon slices they use in the Classic Benedict, we don’t recall if they have always been this thinly sliced. But we wished the slices could be thicker. Maybe it was due to still being in the early morning hours, but the two servers we interacted with were a little bit “cold”. We didn’t feel they were energetic or genuinely friendly. Overall, we had a good dining experience and enjoyed the food. We love to support our local ATL businesses and would recommend this place to anyone!

Cute little place. Tucked away in a shopping center off of Mansel Rd. Plenty of parking. I was glad to be able to sit outside in the sunshine. There was plenty of room inside too. They have a large menu which I can hold on my hand rather than having to read online. And they had lots to choose from. The bacon was cooked just right and eggs were good. (Server could be much better. I had to ask other waitress and waiter several times for my waiter for check and coffee to go and finally just gave up and went inside to pay the bill. No apologies at all from my waiter and no coffee to go. He just handed me the check. So what do you do when service is not good? I wanted to NOT give him a tip. And wanted to give this a 3 star review. But then I reminded myself that maybe the waiter was just having a bad day or maybe they assigned him too many inside tables for him to also be attentive outside too. I will never know unless I go back a few more times! As I write this, it makes me realize the impact one individual can have on an entire business or person, and also the many times in my life where I fell short too. So I left a tip and this long review so I can remind myself that 30 minutes is just a moment in time that shouldn’t define me or anyone else.

I had an amazing experience at The Flying Biscuit Café in Alpharetta! The staff was super friendly and attentive — they made me feel right at home. The food was absolutely incredible! The biscuits truly live up to the hype: fluffy, buttery, and served with that famous cranberry apple butter that I could eat by the spoonful. I ordered the Hangover Hash and it was hands-down one of the best I've had perfectly seasoned, rich, and comforting. The Chicken Sausage Breakfast Burrito was also packed with flavor and so filling. Their menu has something for everyone, whether you're craving a hearty Southern breakfast or a light, fresh option. Everything tasted homemade with a special touch, and the portions were generous without being overwhelming. If you're in the Alpharetta area and love breakfast served all day with a fun, laid-back atmosphere, The Flying Biscuit is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!

My wife and I come to the Flying Biscuit every Sunday and the food and service is always a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Karen is our normal server and she is ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! Please request her on your visit here. Today however was drastically different from our normal experience. My wife ordered the Crab Benedict and the eggs were nearly hard boiled, the potatoes were dry and cold and our biscuits (the signature item that’s in the very name of the concept) was hard and cold. My scrambled eggs with cheese and spicy collard greens were extremely over cooked. They only had one server who tried to be pleasant and was very apologetic but anyone could see that she was overwhelmed. I understand Tuesday’s may be slow but please staff appropriately. We waited for nearly 40 minuets for dry, cold and over cooked food then waited nearly another 30 minutes for the check. I did express our concerns with our server and she seemed genuinely concerned about our plight and motioned to discount our bill but I refused to have anything taken off. I’ve just seen so many restaurants I enjoy over the years go under and/or close and I would hate to drive 40 minutes to this location one day to find it boarded up. Week day ⭐️⭐️ Weekend (especially Sunday’s or any day that Karen is working) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I also think if Karen was there she would hard recovered us from this...

What set this place apart and made me want to go here as opposed to any other breakfast place -- the biscuits, and the apple butter. I've been going here occasionally for the past ~8 years or so. Apple butter recipe has changed. I don't like it anymore. The biscuits used to have more of a sugary top, that went really well with the apple butter. Not anymore.

So I can go for the rest of the food? They used to have a vegetarian biscuits and gravy, delicious, amazing. No longer on the menu.

I had one of their specials today, the crab cake benedict. It was edible, but not great. Not worth $17 definitely. The hollandaise had no flavor, it might as well have not been there. The eggs were fried, not poached. They still had a bit of a runny middle, but were overcooked. Can they not poach eggs here? The server did not ask me how I wanted my eggs, but on eggs benedict, they are supposed to be poached.

I will not be coming back. I can get a better breakfast somewhere else, less expensive, and not be disappointed. If I get one of those generic "Please email me at XXXXX so we can further discuss your experience and fix this" I'm not responding. Nothing is going to be changed just for me.

(The service was good, nice server and staff, reasonable time to wait...
