not usually one to complain. have always worked in customer service so I always try to understand if someone’s having a bad day or how they could just be under a lot of stress but there was no excuse for my experience today. I went to get my eyebrows done and from the second i walked in the door the receptionist wasn’t welcoming in the slightest. the girl that did my eyebrows did an ok job but what made me beyond upset was that she left a ton of wax on the side of my face when there shouldn’t have even been wax there and strings of wax across my face and there’s no excuse for that. there’s no way she didn’t see it. what really bothered me was the fact that a glob of wax was dropped in my hair and she failed to mention it. maybe she didn’t notice and i can respect that if she didn’t but if she did i wouldn’t have been upset if she just acknowledged it and helped me get it out. by the time i discovered the wax in my hair i was in my car and on the way to work so i couldn’t turned around so i called and told the receptionist my situation and she responded with “what do you want me to do?” as if i was bothering her. sorry but it’s not like i want this to happen, at the very least tell me what i can do to safely get it out. i am beyond unhappy with...

I feel the need to provide an update to my review... I have been coming here probably for about 4-5 months now. In April, it started with my appointments being canceled about maybe 1-2 days prior and then having to reschedule or me coming in then leave because they had pretty much given my appointment time to someone else or were very behind (30 minutes late).

However, I still continued to try and come. I always made my appointments weeks in advance, because Miriam is truly that good. She had mentioned to me that they were moving then they weren't moving anymore. However about 3 hours prior to my appointment (which I confirmed yesterday and called the store to ensure several weeks about that someone would be there to do this service and told Miriam I need this service for my wedding) I get a text saying they are moving today and need to move it to another day. I leave today...

I can no longer recommend this place as this has not been a one time thing... I suggest you take your business elsewhere to avoid being put in extremely unideal situations and having your appointments canceled on a regular basis. Soooo I decided to book my first ever Brazilian wax with Naomi after reading all of the great reviews about her. I have to say that she did a phenomenal job! I was so nervous that it was going to be painful after reading so much about it online and also nervous about completely being exposed like that in front of a stranger. I read that you should use lidocaine gel and take an ibuprofen an hour before. I only took ibuprofen. It also was not the best time of the month to be going, but honestly it still wasn't that painful. It was painful but not unbearable and Naomi talked to me through the whole entire process that it really distracted me. It was over in no time and I felt kind of silly for being that scared beforehand. She makes you feel totally comfortable. Afterwards, it was a little tender but I had no problem sitting down or anything. I could go on about my day. Just no tanning or other activities for 48 hours afterwards. I also did not get any bumps or irritation and I normally do after shaving. My skin was left completely smooth and flawless and I definitely will...
