Had went to my local GameStop (which I tend to avoid doing) I went because my gf was getting her nails done next door. As soon as I walk in Iâm asked by both employees if I needed any help even though they were next to each other wasnât too weird but then as I was browsing around I get asked if I need help several times within ten minutes of being there. There was one girl who was really assertive nd pushy (Kenzie) nd when answering phone was giving attitude to guest like in store customers couldnât see her. Pretty distasteful.Looked like she was also maybe training a new guy.I ended up waiting in line for about 30 mins (not too much of a big deal) but I noticed new guy was kind of flustered. Despite there being two registers she just let the guy struggle. Little hard to watch but 3 very long transactions later,I get to the checking out process I grabbed two games i checkout leave nd go on with my day. I go shop more nd eat out finally get home and One Of the Two games I bought WASNT IN THE CASE! I also live far! Luckily they werenât closed! When I called the guy knew exactly why I was calling. I realize mistakes get made but then I get to the store he takes awhile to find it then when I finally get it the disc is in horrible shape even had sticky candy substance on it.    Read moreIf I could give less than one star i would. multiple times I've been lied to and disappointed from pre-ordering funkos from the manager and being lied to by said manager about the pops I ordered and when I asked for my money back i was met with a dirty look and dismissive conversation then while trying to use xbox one trade in the employee claimed the console was broken I had to set the console up for them because they didn't know how to set it up. Also I have had conversations with current and former employees and management claiming to have bought chase funko pops before putting them on shelves making pop hunters waste time and resources trying to finds these chase pops.
Edit- since last post there has been a change in management and employees Its like night and day. They all seemed like they wanted to be there and wanted to help me. When I tried returning something the manager helped me with a smile no attitude. She is way more professional and I don't dread going into this store like...
   Read moreA woman working here Monday afternoon tried to tell me my controller didn't work, that my console wouldn't connect to her system, and then tried to sell me a new controller for my Xbox so that way I could then sell her the Xbox and the controller together at a discounted price. Then when I left she never gave me back my batteries or the wire to connect my controller to the Xbox.
Guess what eggplant gulper, it worked and I sold it to someone else for higher than gamestop would've taken it for, but also lower than the rip-off prices GameStop would've tried...
