We’re in-town for the Air Races, and were enroute to Denny’s for breakfast when my wife found this Local place to try instead… Great Idea! This place is far-removed from Roswell’s main streets, any literally looks like “nothing” from outside. It’s simply a small cafe on the side of a large livestock auction building. Inside is tiny, (8 tables), but welcoming. Terry, the grandfatherly owner greeted us and pointed to a table. I’m pretty sure that our server Noelle was his granddaughter, and that the cook was his wife. The simple lunch/breakfast menu is all comfort food. I had Huevos Rancheros, my wife had eggs, sausage & cakes and my grandson had a stack of pancakes, all served hot, fresh and delicious. As we were finishing Terry came over to talk, and before I knew it we were also talking to the locals around us. A very friendly crowd. I’ll definitely be back!

I stopped there for breakfast on my road trip. I got the hungry cowboy breakfast. The portion was kinda small (definitely not enough to feed a cowboy, let alone a hungry one). The hash brown was dry, coffee was good, but a little bit on the lighter/weaker side. Bacon was slightly salty, but it was tasty. The taste of toasted bread was weird: it felt like the pan/oil has been used so many times. The owners were very friendly. It wasn't very crowded, so the service was fast.

10/5. Never have I given a more deserving 5 stars. The service was amazing as was the food. Best of food and people! We were a big group so we got a bit of everything and it was all outstanding. Everything made fresh and perfect. Wish I got more pics of the food but we dug in too quickly. We also got some of their homemade fried pies and ice cream. All the meat was fresh and sauces homemade. I give this the highest of recommendations. Locally owned and sourced

We were in town for the weekend and chose the Sale Barn based on the high Google reviews but our experience was not the same. We had a party of 8. Two people were served food about 20 -30 min ahead of another two people and then finally after another 30 minutes, the last four were served. We were not able to enjoy a meal together as a group. The food was not impressive either. My daughter’s French toast had remnants of hamburger grease, pickles and onions on it. It looked like it was toast or burger bread from another plate stuck under the pile of French toast they served her. The pancakes were undercooked in the middle. The eggs were either over or undercooked, depending on the plate. The servers were friendly and kind so that is the only comment I would agree with. Mainly writing this comment so that other breakfast joints get their fair shake as I imagine they are either on par or better than the highest...

I wish there were more reviews for this place! This place is a must when you go to Roswell! We were traveling through from Arizona and stopped here and were so glad we did. There meat is never frozen and the bacon is to die for! This is the best homemade home style breakfast you will get away from home! You must go here! Our waitress was the best! I adored her. She was very sweet! She shared tips and tricks with us and was very helpful! I would give a hundred...
